Hello FM17 Lovers and passionate of our legendary save! We had a tough season, we put everything on 2 strikers that did absolutely shambles and, in fact, we still have not much of an idea about getting the Semi Finals of Champions League and lost against Chelsea in a match where we took, at least, 3 posts in the first 20 mins of play.
SLB is back at their best and murdered the league, at least we won the Super Taca, which is still another trophy in the cabinet! It's really important to have strikers who scores with quality, it's obvious, but especially in a league like the portuguese one, it's essential in order to win the title.
The very good news is that we have plenty of cash, the debts years are long gone and we are slowly investing a lot in order to build a super strong team who can also win the Champions League. We reached the Semi Final with a team weaker than few years ago so we are more confident and conscious of our means. In the season 2104/05 that we are now playing, indeed, we are starting to splash serious cash, also because we keep making huge profits selling players.
Unfortunately, every season, there are a lot of complaints about players wanting to play in a better division and this don't allow them to be 100% focused for the whole season. It is a problem because some players raise concerns right before some huge matches and it's hard to please them so quickly.
Only building a team full of champions will make players stay and we keep working on it day and night !
Not much to tell about this season so that's it for now. Our bank has over 140 M now :) It's crazy to think we faced the first 4/5 seasons with like 3 M !! I guess we are good in raising money ! :D
Regarding the National Team, we are not at Ecuador and we are doing the World Cup Quals, we are doing good so far, 2nd but still plenty of football to be played !
