Hello FM17 lovers and passionate of my legendary save! This was the least expected title in my Velez Sarsfield time! As you know I won 11 titles in a row with El Fortin and Lanus broke the loop in the past season, however we managed to bag another title getting in front of them, and, in times of renovation and after seeing our incredible streak broken, it wasn't that easy to predict that we could get on top so quickly again but we did!!
Awful were our performances in Copa Argentina, got out by the hands of San Martin (Tucuman) and underservedly kicked out by INT Porto Alegre at Copa Libertadores Second Stage , however in the current edition we are doing ok and waiting to play the Second Leg of Second Stage after a 2-2 away against Nacional.
The Finances are often very unbalanced and I had to sell, once again a lot of players, if the damn board doesn't allow to build a new Stadium, it's gonna be hard to get more revenue especially because they don't even want to get overseas partners and so on. So stubborn and I am getting tired of this! MLS sirens might be calling me in a while!!
As National Team I am still at Chile and I recently changed tactic and things are rolling in well, I m back at using Offensive wings and it's paying off, maybe someday I ll get back at this tactics even with a club but for now I love too much to have 3 strong AM in centre and one striker. Hopefully we will qualify for the next World Cup!
I m very happy about this title because I thought we got hammered too bad the past season and the beginning of this one wasn't even that encouraging, Considering we got kicked out of everything in the first 3 weeks including losing the South American Recopa.
