Hello FM17 lovers and passionate of my legendary save! It has been a bit slower recently because I have been travelling around Asia for a month because of my art. Anyway, I am so glad we managed to extend our title win run, clinching it once again, even if Racing Club definitely tried to get it from us!
However we are slightly declining in the Copa Libertadores, after 2 amazing wins we are now struggling to get till the end of it, and, we are already out (at Second Round) in the 2188 edition.
Anyway the team looks strong and you can't win everything all the time. The future is bright anyway. Flamengo kicked us out of the Semi Finals of 2187 edition. Another competition we are failing is the Copa Argentina! Last one Velez brought home was in the 2165/66 season!! It's time to get it back!
The Finances are just fine, we have several links with clubs all over the world. I have some problems to find a new super young keeper. I usually use a super young goalkeeper and keep him for his whole career. Working on it but for now I am using a 29 years old Perussato, which was once my Youth team but sold him for a good amount long ago, and only recently got him back.
Unfortunately I couldn't rely anymore of my "Higuita" , "EL MONO" which will be probably leaving next season. 31 years old and spent all his time at Velez Sarsfield. I am sentimental, but not that much. The show must go on!
Glad we also got another Super Copa Argentina and a Recopa!
As National Team, I am now at Poland and we did an amazing Euro group beating England and Holland, going forward but then, very weirdly got kicked out by Turkey in the Second Stage. Very disappointed even if the board couldn't believe we arrived that far against England and Holland.
