Hello FM17 lovers and passionate of my legendary save! After the unbelievable treatment I had a Real Sociedad here I am again in the Chinese Super League and it confirmed to me that this country is an extreme challenging place! I got on the bench only 2 weeks before the season starting date. I had to do a very quick Transfer Market and also adapt to the Country's rules very quickly.
The season started pretty well with a Chinese Super Cup won against the super favorite Yongchang (8 titles in a row including this season) with a stunning 1-3 . We totally killed them! However I arrived 4th at the end of the Season and I lost the Chinese FA Cup Final in the 2 legs encounter against my ex team Xiangtao! We keep it up until the last 4 matches. We also had a chance to put our hands on the title but here are few reasons:
- Best Player got injured for few months in the middle of the season
- Transfer Market quick timing didn't allow me to get decent back wings and It was so hard that I had to put on the pitch few kids sometimes and this is not Argentina :D
- I had to change practically the whole team in just 2 weeks
Considering the above points I did extremely well. I was also lucky enough to secure 3 great chinese players for the next season and also to get into the Asian Champions League because Xiangtao arrived in the first 3 places so I got the Extra Spot losing the Fa Cup final against them. IT was at least very well deserved !
I am sure next season we ll fight on all fronts ! Glad I already got a cup here anyway!
As a National Team I am still at USA and doing the World Cup Quals.
