Fantastic Napoli in Champions League!

There are not many words to describe how Napoli played last night. Ok there were some mistakes in the defensive zone but we know about that already and it is also truth that the Sarri's players missed so many easy to score occasions but still WE cannot deny that this team plays and creates one of the best soccer in the world. Precise and short passes, fast and incisive attacks and players like Mertens, Insigne, Hamsik and Callejon that just create panic to everyone. The match won by Napoli for 2-0 against Nice is a great statement about the partenopei for the upcoming season. We must also say that Nice had few occasions to score a goal but Saint-Maximin, Plea and company really couldn't shoot on target even if they were rather dangerous.
Napoli had great occasions for the whole match and after missing a very big one with a header of a all left alone Callejon in the penalty box the home team got the lead when Mertens anticipated the goalkeeper Cardinale who was coming out dribbling him and putting in the 1-0 well deserved at 13'.
The Nice simply cannot do anything against Mertens-Insigne tandem and only great saves by Cardinale could keep the result alive for the French team.
The 2-0 arrived at 70' thanks to a penalty scored by Jorginho (Mertens was brought down in the area after a marvelous passes exchange with Insigne) . Milik and Insigne also missed two huge chances practically with the empty goal and we are sure Sarri went crazy on those occasions but luckily the Italian team didn't get any goal so at least there will be less regret.

The Champions League qualification is very near now but there is still a match in France to play. Balotelli and Sneijder, two very well known faces in the Italian Serie A, were not playing this match.
Napoli completely dominated the 90' minutes and we are pretty confident they will access the Group Stage phase of the competition. Let's see how things will go!
