Italian Serie A Week 2 showed no big surprises.

It's already time to comment on the Italian Serie A week 2 which comes right before the 2 weeks stop break for the National Teams fixtures. So let's have a quick look at it :
The freshman Benevento lost their first big league home fixture against Bologna for 0-1 thanks to a fantastic counter-attack solo action and goal scored by Donsah at 55'. Benevento played actually very well except some huge mistakes in the defensive area like when Destro found himself completely face to face with Belec and incredibly missed the goal. Thanks to Mirante that saved greatly in few chances and to the VAR that disallowed the Benevento equalizer for an off-side, Donadoni can enjoy this 3 points. Nice match by Ciciretti again. Genoa-Juventus finished 2-4 but the Grifoni were on a 2 goals lead after only 7 minutes ! It could have been a nightmare for Juvenuts AGAIN against Genoa but this time the Old Lady put things straight on track. Anyway it all started with a very unfortunate own goal by Pjanic already in the first minute (20 seconds!) and the Var gave a penalty as well that was scored by Galabinov at 7'. Seven minutes after is Paulo Dybala that started his show scoring at 14' and 46' ( on penalty given by the VAR again ) bringing the match on a level 2-2. Two more goals in the second half by Cuadrado at 62' - control, dribbling on a defender and great precise shot - and again by Dybala at 91' - he surprised everyone with a shot out of the blue - made the result 2-4. Allegri should be still worried about some defensive problems and lack of attention.
Fantastic 1-3 victory by Inter against Roma in their away fixture! What a great revenge by Spalletti against his old team. Dzeko gave the illusion of a great win by Roma that also got 3 times the post during the match but Inter didn't steal anything and thanks to 2 goals by Mauro Icardi and one by Vecino , the milanese team is now in the first position in the league with 6 points in 2 matches. Very unlucky the Roma in this match but results are the ones that count in this world. Many doubts by the Roma supporters about many situations during the match but it's gone anyway. The Torino killed the Sassuolo with a convincing 3-0 opened by a fantastic goal by Belotti. Ljajic and Obi did the rest! Lucky victory for 1-2 by Lazio against Chievo Verona which probably didn't deserve to lose the match. The Clivensi were down by one after 11' thanks to a header by Immobile but they found the equalizer with Pucciarelli at 34'. It's Milinkovic-Savic that gave the 3 points to Simone Inzaghi thanks to a great strike from outside the box at 89' !
Quagliarella and Caprari gave a nice 1-2 victory in the Sampdoria away clash against Fiorentina. The Pioli's team that also lost Kalinic seems to be heading towards a very negative season. Badelj tried to give the illusion of a coming back at 50' but that was it. Another hard experience for Pioli after the spell at Inter.
Milan won but didn't convince much yet. Still 3 points were made in the 2-1 victory against a very well shaped Cagliari. Cutrone and Joao Pedro scored at 10' and 11' making the match very exciting quickly. The baby talent of Milan is going to have a bright future around here probably. Donnarumma made at least 2 great saves during the 90' minutes but the team needed a jewel set-piece by Suso at 70' in order to win the match. Montella can still be happy for the positive result. Napoli struggled against Atalanta but still came out with a 3-1 at San Paolo. The Gasperini's team played very well and was also leading thanks to a header by Cristante. The first half was dominated in a way by Atalanta. The second half probably Sarri made himself very clear and the Napoli was a complete different team that found 3 goals with Zielinski - superb strike - at 56', with Mertens that pushed in a great head assist by Insigne at 61' and with the first goal in Serie A by Rog at 87' finalizing a perfect counter-attack. Still Atalanta can hope in a brighter future because the team is there just Napoli when they want they are too strong for most teams in the world. Great victory 3-2 for the newly promoted  Spal against Udinese. This wasn't a match it was a battle! 2 goals lead for Spal thanks to Borriello at 25' and Lazzari and 57'. The coming back was made by a header by Nuytinck at 72' and the usual Thereau at 87' but when everyone was already thinking about the point conquered in the match it's Rizzo at 94' that gave the first 3 points in this Serie A to the Spal!! Thrilling match finished with a winner! Well done!
