Uefa Europa League Round of 32: Napoli and Lazio gone bad while Milan keep flying high! Atalanta hope!

Sarri has been kinda clear about the Europa League situation. The city, the supporters and the players definitely chose to focus all the efforts in the Italian Serie A title so they cannot really risk to "waste" energies in an European Competition indeed Napoli went on the pitch with a big turn-over. The match played at San Paolo finished 1-3 against a good RB Leipzig. Sarri said he was very disappointed by the players involved in the match especially because they should have given all they can since most of them are not usually in the first team. Ounas is the only one who did something and actually he gave the lead to Napoli with a nice and precise low shot at 52'. After that goal things changed completely and the RB Leipzig started to push much more and finding three goals twice with Timo Werner (61' and 90'+3') and Bruma 74'. WE were kinda expecting this anyway too many big players were left out and Napoli doesn't have many fair enough substitutes. Anyway they might change mind and try all they can in the second leg but WE seriously doubt that. Who knows what will happen if they won't win the Serie A title.

Rather surprising was another loss for Lazio this time in the away match against FC Steaua Bucharest. Only 1-0 anyway which leaves many hopes to the Biancocelesti for the second leg. Still scoring a goal could have been very important. The only goal was scored by Harlem Gnohere'. Disappointing match by Milinkovic Savic, Caicedo and Nani. 3 lost matches in a row for Lazio that will face Hellas Verona in the next Serie A fixture and WE believe they will put an end to these poor form.

Rather easy things for a reborn Milan in the away clash against Ludogorets and it's again Patrick Cutrone who put it in with a nice header at 45'. In the second half a perfect penalty kick by Ricardo Rodriguez 64' (Conquered by Cutrone) and Borini at 90'+2' secured practically the qualification to the next stage! Bravo Ringhio Gattuso!

What a pity for Atalanta which lost 3-2 playing a great match in Dortmund! Incredible really the way the Gasperini's team got on the pitch despite the huge team they had in front ,Borussia Dortmund! Andre' Schurrle gave the lead at 30' even if Atalanta was playing pretty well. In the second half Ilicic became again the great player we saw mostly in the past but that is coming back recently. Two goals within 6 minutes (51' and 56'). Great class from the player who was giving a complete dreamy excitement to the GOATALANTAGO supporters but then on the best moment it was Michy Batshuayi at 65' and again at 90'+1' to give a good victory to his team. WE believe that if Atalanta will repeat a performance like this one in the second leg they can definitely make the "miracle" to get through this team. Forza Atalanta!
