Let's say that playing this kind of Final is mere business and pretty pointless for most of the people involved. Still Belgium Vs England offered a rather pleasant show. 2-0 was a fair result considering how many chances the English missed. The first half ended up on 1-0. The lead was taken after only 4 minutes when Thomas Meunier was ready to push in a cross from the left. A wall already in front for the young British team. Another bad day at work for Harry Kane and company especially in the forward zone. No luck even to Maguire who still was always ready to head a ball towards the goal on every corner kick. Courtois always there but he also have to thank the lack of precision of his opponents. Hazard played a wonderful match and even found the glory of a goal at 82' finishing perfectly one of the many counter-attacks that Belgium did during the match. Since the beginning England was already forced to follow so they were often leaving a lot of space and they have been very lucky for at least two times with a wasteful Lukaku who squandered few great chances once also thanks to a focused Pickford. It has been a positive adventure for England anyway which didn't arrive this far since 1966 when they won the competition in the Final against West Germany. So despite the disappointing display in this match the coach Southgate can consider the job done in a good way also keeping in mind that this team has probably a long future since so many young talented are in it. Good luck for the future! Regarding Belgium they will be probably keep growing and developing to reach even higher achievements in the future. They showed us some great sequence of passes sign of a strong team with clear ideas in their minds.
The big day is coming tomorrow !!!! FRANCE Vs CROATIA!
We believe France will in the World Cup but it won't be easy at all!
