Yes, Belgium, because the other match was them against Brazil and they actually made it! An historical 2-1 even if considering the players and the performance Belgium was the better team. Especially in the first half which actually saw Brazil starting very good shooting and even going close to score with Thiago Silva. Since that moment Belgium and their top players Lukaku, Hazard and De Bruyne started to roll like crazy. The red team was all over and impossible to stop. Very unlucky for Brazil to go down by one with a header own goal by Fernandinho (13'). A Courtois in that shape meant that Brazil simply couldn't score and actually at 31' it was a super strike by De Bruyne to bring the team up by two! What a strike! The half time finished like this and it didn't look good for the Pentacampeones. The second half saw two dubious penalties not called by referee and VAR both for Brazil. In the first occasion the referee almost laughed at Neymar for his simulation attempt in the second case Kompany wasn't guilty of foul after his tackle with Gabriel Jesus (56'). Great Courtois also on a shot by Douglas Costa at 64'. At 77' Renato Augusto (got into the pitch at 76') gave the 2-1 illusion scoring a nice header. Incredible how the same Renato missed the 2-2 sending a penalty kick in movement wide on the right of the keeper. What a huge mistake. When Coutinho saw Courtois saving his trademark shot at 90'+4' you understood nothing else could have been done. Belgium beat 2-1 Brazil and goes to Semi Final!
Poor Neymar, Poor Brazil in general and not deserving at all to go farer than this. All the South American teams are out!
