World Cup 2018 Semi Final: Vive La France! Umtiti pushes his team to the Final!

Maybe not the most exciting World Cup in history but still a very interesting one and all European! The first Semi-Final was France-Belgium. It took 15 minutes to start seeing something after a period where both teams were studying each other especially because Belgium is probably the only team that is changing tactics here and there becoming very dangerous for their opponents. First effort was by Hazard with a wide shot at 16' and France answered with Matuidi who fired from 25 yards finding a very ready Courtois. It's again from Hazard that Belgium almost put one behind Lloris but Varane managed to head the ball deflecting it and making Fellaini shooting over the bar (19'). Incredible save by Lloris at 22' when during a corner kick situation the ball finished on Alderweireld's foot. France goalkeeper fingertipped the ball while being in full stretch. At 23' and 31' two attempts by Giroud lacked of precision. At 34' big change for France with nice passing between Griezmann to Mbappe and delivering to Giroud who made a mess on the finishing. This part of the game was totally in the hands of France. At 39' perfect through ball from Mbappe to Pavard who's definitely not a bomber and you can tell even if his low shot was not that bad but Courtois made a stunning save in corner with the tip of his foot. Right before the Half Time whistle Umtiti was almost making a huge mess when De Bruyne delivered a cross to Lukaku. Umtiti slipped half missing the ball that -luckily for France- finished on Lukaku's body in a goofy way and the ball finished in goal kick. 0-0 was the first half .

The second 45 minutes will see France putting his Final mark on the match. At 51'Samuel Umtiti headed a ball past Courtois during a corner kick situation! 1-0! From that moment France took care of controlling the match without being greedy but it's always risky especially when you play with team like Belgium. When Mertens got on the pitch he made an impact very quickly like at 65' with a great cross for Fellaini who sent the ball wide. At 81' it was Witsel who tried to get an equaliser finding Lloris focused on it. Courtois made another great save on Tolisso at 90'+6. Belgium seems to ALWAYS lose themselves on the best part and again it happened. France goes to the Super Final! Let's wait tomorrow to see against who!

P.S. Today it was also an historical one since CRISTIANO RONALDO OFFICIALLY SIGNED FOR JUVENTUS which means the Italian Serie A just got crazy! It's gonna be a very exciting year!
