Premier League 2018-2019 week 2nd: Manchester is light blue all over, Liverpool and Chelsea are there but not alone! Awful times for Mourinho!

Let's see what happened in the Premier League this week!

Can't believe we are already at the 2nd Premier League week! Let's have a look at the results!

CARDIFF-NEWCASTLE= 0-0

Let's say that Benitez here definitely missed a chance to get 3 points here. They couldn't manage to score within 90 minutes and they even got to play in 10 men after the red card shown to Isaac Hayden at 66'. Incredible the chance Newcastle wasted at 90'+6'! Kenedy missed a penalty kick!! Lucky Cardiff!

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS-FULHAM= 3-1 Lucas Moura 43',Aleksandar Mitrovic 52',Kieran Trippier 74', Harry Kane 77'

If you just read the final result you might think it was a sort of easy win but it really wasn't! Imagine that the teams were on the 1-1 till the 74' when Trippier scored followed 3 minutes after by the bomber Harry Kane who wasn't scoring in August since a long while!

WEST HAM-BOURNEMOUTH= 1-2 Marko Arnautovic 33'(PEN),Callum Wilson 60', Steve Cook 66'

If you are a Hammer supporter you better stay away from social media for a while. Most people don't understand that to put up a good team it takes time and teamwork building. Too many great signings this season. So now you got to be patient and also swallow days like thsi one. Despite a positive first half where they were in the lead (even if thanks to a penalty), they kind of blacked out in the second half making Wilson looking like CR7 and leaving Cook all alone in the box. The Hammers got Hammered again. Everyone is hoping this is going to finish soon! Good luck Manuel Pellegrini! Well done to Bournemouth which brought home 3 important points!

LEICESTER CITY-WOLVES= 2-0 Matt Doherty 29'(OwnGoal),James Maddison 45'

The Foxes are back and so their confidence! Wolves are still looking to find the right dimension in this PL while Puel put in a great team that is growing up week by week. WE LOVE LEICESTER CITY but we really didn't like the Jamie Vardy behaviour! He really deserved a red card at 66' after an awful foul. He looked also pretty nervous all day long. Chill Jamie! Great confirmation by James Maddison who is becoming the core of the team. Clean Sheet for Kasper Schmeichel who did few great saves too!

EVERTON-SOUTHAMPTON= 2-1 Theo Walcott 15',Richarlison 31', Danny Ings 54'

Richarlison is putting his mark on this PL already! Looks like every ball he touches becomes goal! He already scored 3 in two matches! Perfectly assisted by Walcott in this occasion. Looks like a very positive start for Theo too. The Saints will have to work a lot on their over all potential if they don't want to live another weird season!

CHELSEA-ARSENAL= 3-2  Pedro 9', Alvaro Morata 20',Henrikh Mkhitaryan 37', Iwobi 41',Marcos Alonso 81'.

Sarri keeps going on even if probably Chelsea still have to work on a lot of things but it's quite normal at this stage. Instead it's a very good sign to keep winning matches especially against a "hungry" Arsenal. It looked all under control for the Blues in the first 20 minutes also thanks to a wasteful Arsenal that sill managed to balance the match before the end of the first half. One of the greatest men of Sarri gave the 3 points to his team: Marcos Alonso. We are happy about Sarri while it's weird to see Arsenal at the bottom of the Pl with zero points.

MANCHESTER CITY-HUDDERSFIELD TOWN= 6-1 Kun Aguero 25',35' and 75',Gabriel Jesus 31', Jon Gorenc Stankovic 43', David Silva 48',Terence Kongolo (Own Goal)84'.

We could spend all the words you want on this match but it would be much funnier for you to just watch the highlights.Pep's team was always leading and the Kun was unstoppable. Great back heel touch for his third goal in the match before getting substituted. HatTrick! Fantastic the David Silva free kick too. Huddersfield can just put together their pieces and deleting this match from their heads.

BURNLEY-WATFORD= 1-3 Andre Gray 3',James Tarkowski 6',Troy Deeney 48',Will Hughes 51'

Looks like Burnley lost themselves. Did amazing the past season, did fair enough in the Europa League since they are now in the Play Off for the Group Stage access but they are starting very slow in the PL this season. WE guess it's reasonable since they are putting a lot of energies in the EL. Watford is very focused this year and after two matches they are at full points!

BRIGHTON-MANCHESTER UNITED= 3-2  Glenn Murray 25',Shane Duffy 27', Romelu Lukaku 34',Pascal Grob 44'(PEN), Paul Pogba 90'+5'(PEN).

Oh poor Mourinho. He doesn't know where to start this year. An awful perfomance against a very well organized Seagulls'team under the lead of Chris Hughton. Something is definitely changing in Manchester. The light blue colour looks like is destined to get painted over the red. Brighton looked much better than their opponents especially considering the supposed to be difference between the two teams but names and money don't always give the 3 points. Pogba, Lukaku and company must learn from this. Let's also remember that they didn't completely deserved to beat Leicester City in the first match. Let's wait and see.

CRYSTAL PALACE-LIVERPOOL= 0-2 James Milner 45'(PEN),Sadio Mane'90'+3'.

Klopp's team is definitely on high after a tough but convincing away victory against a solid Crystal Palace which sold their skin at a very high price but in the end the Liverpool's quality made them come up with 3 points. Probably receiving a penalty kick right before the end of the first half is definitely a big morale boost. The Palace was also left in 10 men when Aaron-Wan Bissaka brought down Salah. The Egyptian didn't score but he was generous in giving a semi-assist to Mane for the final 0-2. Leaders. Positive notes for Roy Hodgson. This is going to be a good season for them!
