We are sorry we have been a bit absent recently but we were VERY BUSY on some personal life projects plus we are still jetlagged after a long trip back to Asia (where we will be staying for another couple of months). We have a new quick "10ForYou"x Actually Subbuteo with a Subbuteo club President from South Italy in Sicily! Let's discover who's Gianluca:

1)Chi Sei, cosa fai e perche' la tua vita e' correlata al Subbuteo ?
Mi chiamo Gianluca Giliberto e ho 40 anni. Sono commercialista e appassionato di Subbuteo. Ci giocavo da ragazzino con gli amici e da circa 12 anni ho ripreso a livello agonistico;
1)Who are you, what do you do, where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo?
My name's Gianluca Giliberto and I am 40 years old.I'm an accountant and I am passionate about Subbuteo. I used to play with it since I was a kid with my friends and I started to play it again in official competitions since 12 years.
2)Qual'e' il tuo primo ricordo del Subbuteo ? (La tua prima volta)
Ricordo che mio cugino, di circa 15 anni più grande di me, mi regalò la sua scatola di Subbuteo Table Soccer con panno, porte, bandierine del calcio d'angolo, arbitri e quattro squadre (rossa, blu, Inter e Milan).
2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)
I remember that my cousin who was 15 years older than me gave a Subbuteo Table Soccer set to me as a gift. It had it all: Green pitch,goals,corners'flags,referees and 4 teams (Red,Blue,Inter and Milan)
3)Qualche parola sulla TUA Vita Subbuteo e cosa significa per te essere un presidente di un club vincente.
Mi appassiona molto quest'hobby, mi fa conoscere tante persone e vedere anche posti nuovi. Essere il presidente del mio club mi inorgoglisce, faccio tutto ciò che serve alla sua esistenza con passione e divertimento.
3)Say something about your Subbuteo Life and what it means for you to be president of a winning club.
I'm very passionate about this hobby. It allows me to meet new people and see new places. Being the President of my club is something that makes me proud of and I do all I can to keep it going with all my passion and joy.
4)A quali eventi Subbuteo avete partecipato? Quali le vittorie piu' prestigiose?
Abbiamo partecipato a moltissime competizioni, sia a livello nazionale che internazionale. Le vittorie più prestigiose sono state gli scudetti e le coppe Italia vinte dalle nostre squadre giovanili e la promozione in B del 2016, con la salvezza ottenuta fra mille difficoltà l'anno successivo;
4)Which Subbuteo events did you take part in? Which ones were the most important victories?
We took part in many competitions both National and International. The most important victories were the Scudetti(League Titles)and Italian Cups won by our Youth Team plus the promotion in the Serie B in 2016 -despite so many difficulties we managed to keep ourselves in the division.
5)Oltre a giocare a Subbuteo/o essere il Presidente di un club, sei anche un collezionista?
Non sono un vero e proprio collezionista. Conservo ancora però le mie squadre acquistate negli anni 90.
5)Besides playing Subbuteo/Being president of your club, are you also a Collector?
I'm not a real collector but I still keep my teams from the 90ies.
6)Qual'e' la tua squadra preferita ?
Sono per prima cosa tifoso della squadra della mia città, il Messina. Ma da sempre tifoso juventino;
6)What's your favourite team ?
Over all I am a supporter of my city's team Messina but I have been a Juventus supporter since ever.
7)Qual'e' secondo te la squadra piu' rara ?
Non ne ho idea ma ricordo che da ragazzino cercai con insistenza l'Hellas Verona maglia gialla, mai trovata;
7)Which one is the rarest team for you ?
I have no idea but I remember that I was looking all over for the Hellas Verona when I was a kid. Never found it.
8)Quando e' stato fondato ASD Messina Table Soccer? Di' qualcosa sulla storia del club ! Chi e' il giocatore piu' forte della tua "scuderia"?
Il Messina Table Soccer è stato fondato nel 2011, prima esisteva il Subbuteo Messina Sport Club, nato nel 2007, di cui facevo parte. Abbiamo avuto varie vicissitudini e un gran numero di persone ha fatto parte del nostro club. Abbiamo fatto tanta gavetta e oggi possiamo affermare di essere uno dei club più attivi in Italia. Ci sono tanti ragazzi molto forti in squadra ma per me Armando Giuffrè è il migliore adesso.
8)When was your club ASD Messina Table Soccer founded? Say something about the history of the club! Who's the best players you got?
The Messina Table Soccer was founded in 2011. Before that there was the Messina Sport Club which was born in 2007 and I was part of that. We had so many problems at that time and many people were part of that club. We worked our way up to the ladder very hard and today we can actually say we are one of the most active Club in Italy. There are many talented players in our team but I personally think that Armando Giuffre' is actually the best.

It was rather hard to get in touch with them for many reasons but we are glad the President Gianluca gave us his time to become part of our Actually Subbuteo section. Thanks a lot and we wish you all the best for the future!
