Champions League 2018-2019: Inter and Napoli totally on course! Shocking Liverpool!
INTER-BARCELONA=1-1 Malcom 83',Maurito Icardi 87'.
It's a very good draw for Inter and it was kind of deserved.Maybe not fully deserved but definitely they didn't rob anyone. It's true that Barcelona attacked most of the time finding Handanovic always ready at his place but somehow you have the feeling that it was a lot of smoke and not much more. Suarez missed few great chances and in few occasions the Spalletti's team has been very lucky but you know...you also look for your luck! Messi couldn't be on the pitch still recovering from a broken arm and maybe if he was on the pitch those occasions would have finished in a different way. What really counts is that only few minutes after the Barca goal, in the last ten minutes of the match, Mauro Icardi made the San Siro stadium exploding in celebration! His kind of goals. The King of the penalty box did it again! He even took the ball and brought it quickly to the centre field which showed everyone that Inter means serious business this year. Nice match and 1 point each which is not bad at all for Inter especially considering the 2-1 victory by Tottenham Hotspurs against PSV Eindhoven where Harry Kane equalized (78') and completed the come back (89') after the very early lead by PSV at 2' thanks to Luuk De Jong! The Spurs deserved the 3 points especially for how much they looked for them.
NAPOLI-PSG=1-1 Juan Bernat 45'+2',Lorenzo Insigne 62'(PEN).
The Ancelotti's team is a very good one. It's a pity that maybe the Partenopei left a bit too much space to PSG in the first half and also the second one since they had to recover the 0-1. Very balanced match even if the French team was very dangerous with Neymar and Mbappe. Fantastic was the defensive work made by Koulibaly in few occasions. He's growing up week by week and WE think he will definitely become one of the best in the world. The Penalty kick perfectly shot by Lorenzo Insigne made the San Paolo's Stadium -almost at full capacity 55,000 supporters- cheering like crazy. Both teams could have won the match but for the occasions created it was probably Napoli to deserve the win. Instead it was incredible the 2-0(Milan Pavkov 22'and 29')made by Red Star Belgrade against Liverpool. Rather shocking and fantastic news for Napoli which can now see the real possibility of making it through the "impossible" Champions League group!
