CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2018-2019:Spalletti lost the plot ! Napoli still on fire!

Eriksen killed Inter last night (Picture from Calciomercato.com)
The classic old Inter. Such a teaser. Bringing you ALMOST there but always failing in the most important moment. Luckily this time the Spalletti's team still got a chance but last night mentality on the pitch should worry the supporters. The coach declared they were not going to face Tottenham Hotspurs just for getting a point. Gosh! They did exactly that. Radja Nainggolan absolutely awful making more mistakes than the balls he could actually play and got substituted after 45 minutes to make space for Borja Valero, best man on the pitch. Perisic is officially the carbon copy of the old version. What a disappointment. He will probably leave Inter after this season. Mauro Icardi didn't do his job also not very well assisted but he did help a lot in the defensive part. Pochettino definitely surprised changing his kind of style. He waited till the end before putting the deadly arrows Son Heung-Min and Eriksen. They both completely killed the match especially the latter who perfectly finished a very quick offensive action. Caught off guard Skriniar who has been kind of perfect for the whole match just like De Vrij. You can say whatever you want but Keita should have been put on the pitch much earlier. Politano had a very positive game but he just didn't have much of it anymore in the last 20 minutes and should have called out. What a pity also to see Lautaro Martinez sadly sitting on bench. Spalletti deserved this defeat. Solid Sissoko, awful Brozovic in the second half. Well done Spurs 1-0! All-in for both team  in the last matches! Somewhere else PSV lost 1-2 against Barcelona(Lionel Messi 61',Gerard Pique 70',Luuk De Jong 82') , getting 3 posts! Unlucky day before Messi took charge.

Great night for Napoli. Ancelotti's showing to everyone that you can face Champions League and Italian Serie A. Ok yes, they lost points in the home match against Chievo but there is still a lot of time, technically, to get those points back while in CL you don't have much time. There are so many chances to make it at this point. Next match against Liverpool will decide everything and maybe even a defeat could be enough! It was almost all good last night. The Partenopei walked all over Red Star Belgrade. A convincing 3-1 thanks to double Mertens and Marek Hamsik who keeps burning all the Club's records. Liverpool lost 2-1 in the away match against PSG. (Juan Bernat 13',Neymar 37',James Milner 45'+1'PEN).
