Il mio nome è
Raimondo Rhodio, classe 1962, e sono uno dei padri fondatori nonché attuale Presidente del
Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania, club amatoriale “atipico” nell’Universo del
Subbuteo,
formato da un
gruppo di soci (attualmente conta 52 iscritti tra adulti e bambini), operante a
Roma nel quartiere
Africano, con sede di gioco in Viale Etiopia, 8/b.
1)Who are you, what do you do and how's your life related to Subbuteo?
My name is Raimondo Rhodio, born in 1962, and I’m one of the
founders as well as current President of the Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania, an atypical and amateur
club in the Subbuteo universe, formed by a group of 52 associates (Adults and kids), operating in Rome in the
Africano neighbourhood and our clubhouse is in Viale Etiopia,
8/b.
2)Qual è il tuo
primo ricordo del Subbuteo ?
Ho conosciuto il
Subbuteo agli inizi del 1974, l’anno del Campionato Mondiale di calcio in
Germania, poi vinto dalla
Germania Ovest di Beckenbauer e Gerd Muller sull’Olanda del mitico Cruijff.
Frequentavo il
primo anno delle scuole medie a Roma e nel mio quartiere ci giocavano quasi
tutti i bambini e gli
adolescenti che conoscevo. Anche nella mia classe molti compagni avevano il
Subbuteo e con la
scusa dello studiare insieme andavo a giocare a casa loro. A dicembre del 1974,
in occasione del mio
compleanno, ho poi ricevuto per regalo da mia madre il box-set “Subbuteo
Continental Club
Edition”. Da quel momento il Subbuteo è diventato il più bel gioco della mia
vita. Per me ed alcuni miei
amici era oramai divenuto un appuntamento usuale al termine delle lezioni
entrare nei negozi di giocattoli
vicini alla nostra scuola (Charlie Brown a Viale Somalia e Girotondo a Viale Libia…ora non
esistono più…) per vedere se vi erano novità tra le squadre esposte e
soprattutto per guardare
attentamente un foglio coloratissimo appeso al muro accanto agli scaffali,
contenente il Catalogo delle
squadre di Subbuteo, ognuna di esse con accanto il proprio numero d’ordine o,
detta in inglese, di
“reference”. Avevamo ormai imparato a memoria che ad esempio alla reference
numero 25 vi era il
Celtic Glasgow, alla 50 vi era il mitico Brasile, alla numero 100 il Manchester
United, alla numero 165 la
squadra brasiliana del Santos che chiudeva il catalogo del 1974 e alla numero
176 la
Nazionale
africana dello Zaire, prodotta in occasione dei Campionati mondiali di calcio
in Germania e che chiudeva il
successivo catalogo del 1975. Dopo tre anni di gioco, avevo una piccola
collezione di
circa 25 squadre
(all’epoca esistevano solo le miniature “Classic HW” con incastro a barretta).
Poi all’età di 16-17
anni ho pian piano smesso di giocarci, attratto da altri interessi. Per circa
30 anni non ho più pensato al
Subbuteo. Ritengo però che la passione che si ha da bambino si può attenuare
con il tempo ma mai
spegnere del tutto. Al momento opportuno poi si può anche riaccendere. E così
una sera dell’estate
2006, qualche giorno dopo i Mondiali vinti dall’Italia, ho ricordato ad un mio
nipotino (all’epoca aveva
9 anni), appassionato di giochi sulla play-station, che alla sua età giocavo
con un gioco
meraviglioso, per lui assolutamente sconosciuto, chiamato Subbuteo,
promettendoglielo in regalo se lo
avessi trovato in qualche negozio di giocattoli. Qualche tempo dopo gli regalai
un gioco simile al Subbuteo,
prodotto dalla Parodi e denominato “Zeugo”.
2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)
I met Subbuteo in the first months of 1974, the year of the
the World Cup in Germany, won by the West Germany of Beckenbauer and Gerd Muller against the
Netherlands of the great Cruijff. I was in my first year of middle school in Rome and in my neighborhood nearly
everyone played it. In my class many of my classmates had Subbuteo and with the excuse of studying I
used to go over to their houses to play. In December 1974 for my birthday, my mother gifted me the box
set “Subbuteo Continental Club Edition”. From that moment Subbuteo became the best game in my life. For me
and my friends it had become a fixed schedule after our classes to go to the toy shops next to
our school (Charlie Brown in Viale Somalia and Girotondo in Viale Libia… They don’t exist anymore) to see
if there were any new teams displayed. Another thing we were looking for was to read the coloured sheet of
paper, hung on the wall, containing the Catalogue of
the Subbuteo teams, each with its own order number or as you
say in English, its “Reference Number”. We had learned by heart for example that the reference number
25 was assigned to Celtic Glasgow, number 50 to Brasil, number 100 to Manchester United, number 165 to
Santos which ended the catalogue of 1974, number 176 to the African National team of Zaire, produced in
occasion of the world cup in Germany and ended the catalogue of 1975. After 3 years I had a small collection of
25 teams (at the time only the “Classic HW” existed)
but at the age of 16-17 years I stopped playing, drawn by
other interests. For other 30 years then I didn’t think about Subbuteo. I however think that a passion that you have
as a child can be mitigated by time but will never fade completely. A spark can re-ignite the fire at any
moment. So, one night in the summer of 2006, a couple of days after Italy won the world cup, I told one of
my nephews (he was 9 at the time) that loved playing Playstation, that when I was his age I used to play
a wonderful game, totally unknown to him, called Subbuteo, and promised it as a present if I had found it In
a toy shop. Sometime later I gifted him a game similar to Subbuteo, made by Parodi and called “Zeugo”.
3)Sei anche un
collezionista oltre che un giocatore ?
Attualmente ho
una collezione di cataloghi originali Subbuteo (inglesi, ma anche italiani e
francesi) perché sono molto interessato alla storia di questo gioco. Ho acquistato in questi ultimi anni
molto materiale
Subbuteo e squadre, sia HW sia LW, originali o anche repliche, ma non mi
definisco un collezionista di squadre.
3)Are you also a Collector besides being a Subbuteo Player?
At the time we are speaking I have a collection of original
catalogues of Subbuteo (English, Italians and French) because I’m very interested in the history of this
game. I also bought in these last years many teams, HW and LW, originals and replicas, and Subbuteo materials.
Still, I don’t consider myself a collector of teams.

4)Qual è la tua
squadra preferita ?
Sono affezionato
all’unica squadra che mi è rimasta delle venticinque che possedevo negli anni
‘70, ritrovata in
cantina dopo tanti anni: è una HW originale, la ref. n. 63 Montrose (assomiglia
alla seconda maglia della Sampdoria).
4)What's your favourite team?
I’m attached the most to the only team that I have of the 25
I had in the 70’s, found in my cellar many years later: it’s an original HW, the ref n.63 Montrose (it looks
like the second jersey of Sampdoria).
5)Quando e
perché avete fondato il vostro club?
Paradossalmente
per un Club di Subbuteo, lo stesso gioco del Subbuteo non rappresentò la molla aggregativa più
importante. Mi spiego meglio: nell’anno 2008, all’interno del condominio dove
abito (8 edifici con circa
300 famiglie) ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare altri papà come me preoccupati
e dispiaciuti di
non avere tempo sufficiente da dedicare ai propri figli piccoli (avevamo
all’epoca tutti figli/figlie tra
i 7 e gli 11 anni), lasciati soli a giocare con i videogiochi. Quando tornavo la
sera dal lavoro incontravo questi papà nel giardino condominiale e mi piaceva, prima di
rientrare a casa, dialogare con loro del più e del meno per qualche minuto. Una sera lanciai
l’idea di spronarci a vicenda e trovare tutti insieme (eravamo in 4) uno spazio comune, un tempo
e anche un gioco “vintage” per giocare con i nostri figli e farli giocare tra
loro. L’idea fu
apprezzata dagli altri. Per prima cosa
individuammo lo spazio comune in una casetta all’interno del giardino,
utilizzata solo per le riunioni
condominiali e sempre libera di sera. Ne parlai con l’Amministratore del
Condominio e ottenni la
possibilità di usufruirne gratuitamente una sera a settimana. Poi decidemmo
quando vederci: scegliemmo il venerdì sera dopo cena, perché i bambini non andavano il
sabato a scuola. Per ultimo
dovevamo pensare al gioco “vintage” con il quale giocare tutti insieme. Qualcuno propose
il mitico Monopoli… io invece proposi il Subbuteo, perché un paio di anni prima avevo acquistato
su internet un campo di gioco originale Subbuteo che avevo montato su una
tavola e possedevo anche
alcune squadre originali LW acquistate casualmente in un emporio. Se fosse passata
l’idea del Monopoli a quest’ora esisterebbe un Club di giochi da tavola
generici! Proposi di
provare con il Subbuteo, anche perché tutti e quattro noi adulti ci avevamo
giocato da
piccoli, e così
un venerdì sera portai il mio campo e le mie squadre nella casetta condominiale
e per la prima volta
giocammo padri e figli insieme. L’esperimento
piacque ai nostri figli, anche se non erano ancora capaci di muovere le
miniature sul campo.
Soprattutto ai bambini piaceva giocare ad un gioco con il quale aveva giocato
il proprio papà da piccolo. Cominciammo
quindi ad avere appuntamenti settimanali regolari il venerdì sera. Alle
iniziali quattro coppie
padre-figlio se ne aggiunse, con entusiasmo, una quinta coppia dopo poche
settimane. Capimmo allora
che il Subbuteo, in quanto gioco “alla vecchia maniera”, aveva in sé le
potenzialità per aiutarci a
migliorare le relazioni con i nostri figli e a sviluppare la loro
socializzazione con altri bambini di pari
età, distogliendoli nel frattempo dai videogiochi.
5)When and how did you found your Club?
Strangely for a Subbuteo Club, the game Subbuteo wasn’t the
reason we founded the club. In 2008 in the condominium where I live (8 buildings with 300 families) and
I had the luck to meet other fathers like me worried and sad because we couldn’t spend time with our
children (who were all between 7 and 11), that were left alone playing video games. When I used to get back
from work, I used to meet these fathers and I liked to chat with them and one night I suggested to find a
common place all together (we were 4) and a
“vintage” game to play all together. The idea was
appreciated by the others. The first thing we found was the location: a small shelter in
the garden of our condominium, used only for meetings and always free at night. I talked to the
administrator and he granted us the possibility to use the shelter once a week. Then we decided when to meet we chose Friday night after
dinner, because kids didn’t go to school on Saturdays. Then we had to think about the vintage game to play all
together. Someone suggested the magnificent Monopoly, but I suggested Subbuteo, because a couple of
years earlier I had bought on internet an original Subbuteo pitch that I had fitted on a table and I had some
original LW teams I bought in an emporium. If we had chosen Monopoly, today we would be a generic board game
club! All of us had played Subbuteo when we were kids and so one
Friday night, I took my pitch to the shelter and, for the first time, fathers and children played together.
The experiment was appreciated by our children even if they still couldn’t move the miniatures on the pitch.
Especially children liked playing a game that their fathers played when they were small. So we started having
weekly meetings on Friday nigh and a new couple joined in a few weeks. We understood then that Subbuteo ad
an “Old style” game, had the potential to help us better the relationships with their children and helped
them socializing with kids of the same age, distracting them
from videogames.

6)Hai definito
il Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania un club amatoriale “atipico” nell’Universo
del Subbuteo, perché?
Come noto
nell’Universo del Subbuteo esistono due mondi molto vasti: 1)quello del Calcio
datavolo(CDT),
rappresentato in Italia dalla FISCT
2)quello del Subbuteo tradizionale,
rappresentato dall’Associazione
Amatori Old Subbuteo e ultimamente anche dal settore Subbuteo della FISCT.
Il gioco
praticato nel Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania non è però né Calcio da tavolo né
Subbuteo tradizionale ma
una via di mezzo tra il gioco del calcio reale e il gioco del Subbuteo. Tale gioco è
stato da noi denominato “Calcio Miniaturizzato” e il relativo Regolamento,
ideato e realizzato in via
autonoma ed esclusiva dal nostro Club, è il “Regolamento di gioco del Calcio Miniaturizzato”,
che, revisionato nel corso degli anni, è arrivato ora (gennaio 2019) alla versione
Rev.12.2. Per questo motivo
il Club fin dalla sua origine non ha voluto aderire ad alcuna Federazione o
Associazione
nazionale o internazionale di Club di Calcio da tavolo o di Subbuteo
tradizionale.
6)You defined your Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania as an atypical Club within the Subbuteo Universe, can you tell us why?
There are two vast worlds within the Subbuteo universe:
1) The table football, represented in Italy by FISCT
2) Traditional Subbuteo, represented by the Amateur
Association Old Subbuteo and, recently, by the Subbuteo branch of FISCT.
The game we play in Subbuteo Club Real Tripolitania is
neither table football neither traditional Subbuteo but stand in the middle between real football and traditional
Subbuteo. The game was called by un “Miniaturized Football” and the rules of the game were entirely written by
us and have been refined by us throughout the
years. Just recently (January 2019) we released version
12.2.
For this reason, the club since its origin didn’t want to
join any federation or national association or international table football club or traditional Subbuteo
clubs.
7)Ma in cosa
consiste il “Calcio Miniaturizzato” e in cosa differisce dal tradizionale gioco
del Subbuteo?
Partendo da
quanto sostenuto proprio negli stessi documenti ufficiali Subbuteo “Le regole
di gioco del Subbuteo…
seguono fedelmente quelle del vero calcio con sole poche necessarie eccezioni.
La loro esatta
applicazione…aiuta particolarmente a capire e mettere in pratica le regole del
gioco reale con conseguente
maggiore interesse nel seguire con competenza le vere partite delle quali si possono così
meglio apprezzare tutti gli emozionanti dettagli tecnici…” (Cfr. Catalogo
Subbuteo 1978 Parodi in
italiano), la “filosofia” che sta alla base dell’ideazione e della
realizzazione del “Calcio Miniaturizzato”
nasce dalla volontà dei fondatori del Club di avere un gioco che miniaturizzi
il calcio,
per quanto
possibile, solo negli elementi essenziali (il campo, la palla, i giocatori,
l’arbitro, i guardalinee) per
rendere una partita ancora più vicina al gioco del calcio di quanto già fa il
Subbuteo, tentando di
riprodurre, seppur in miniatura, una partita di “calcio vero”, avendo, laddove
compatibili, le stesse regole
di questo, piuttosto che essere un gioco da tavolo a se stante, con regole
talvolta anche totalmente
diverse.
E così, ad
esempio, durante una partita le miniature non sono anonime ma sono tutte
singolarmente riconoscibili e
attribuibili ad un calciatore reale. I nostri
campionati seniores cercano di ricalcare sempre più quelli reali. Nella
stagione attuale
abbiamo la Serie
A al completo (le 20 squadre del campionato reale 2018-19) e anche la Serie B
al completo (le 19
squadre del campionato reale 2018-19). Il calendario è quello reale ma
limitato, per mancanza di
tempo, al girone di ritorno (19 giornate).
7)What really is the "Miniaturized Football" and what's the main difference comparing it with the Traditional Subbuteo ?
Starting form what is stated in the official Subbuteo
documents: “The rules of the game of Subbuteo … follow closely the rules of the true football with only some
necessary exceptions. Their exact application,… helps to understand and to put into practice the rules of the real
game with consequential higher interest in following
with competence the true games of which you can then better
appreciate all the great technical details” (Cfr. Catalog Subbuteo
1978 Parodi in Italian). The philosophy that we followed in creating
Miniaturized Football, starts from the will of the founders of the club to have a
game that miniaturizes football only in essential
elements (the pitch, the ball, the players, the referee, the
linesmen) to make the game as similar as possible to a game of “true football”, having, where compatible, the
same rules, rather than being a board game with completely different rules.
So, for example, during a game the miniatures aren’t
anonymous but are all recognizable and traceable to a true football player. Our seniors’ championships tried to
follow the true ones. Both Serie A and Serie B are complete, but the calendar has only 19 matches due to time
restrictions.
8)Ma c’era
proprio bisogno di creare un Regolamento nuovo? Non bastavano quelli già
esistenti?
Per rispondere a
questa domanda occorre tornare indietro nel tempo, a circa dieci anni fa, e all’obiettivo
primario dei fondatori del Club, quello cioè di far giocare insieme padri e
figli.
Noi papà
prendemmo atto che i nostri bambini (ognuno tifoso di una diversa squadra di
calcio reale) sarebbero stati
ancor di più interessati al gioco che stavamo proponendo ma per loro
sconosciuto, se le miniature
fossero state attribuibili singolarmente ai propri beniamini. A tal proposito
ricordo che uno dei bambini era tifoso del Milan e di fronte ad una squadra di giocatori anonimi
in maglia rossonera, mi ha chiesto dove fossero Ronaldinho e Pato. Poiché sono
capace di dipingere in miniatura e quel Milan era una mia LW, decisi di
modificare la squadra inserendo
copridischetti personalizzati, dipingendo i numeri reali dietro la maglia,
inserendo la fascia di
capitano e rendendo di colore scuro la pelle di alcuni giocatori. Il venerdì
successivo portai la squadra così personalizzata e questa ebbe un gran successo
tra i bambini, a tal
punto che tutti gli altri hanno voluto che dipingessi anche le squadre con le
quali
giocavano. Il percorso di
allontanamento dal “Subbuteo tradizionale” era solo iniziato. Per rendere il
gioco ancor più allettante per i nostri figli iniziammo non solo a
personalizzare le squadre
(permettendoci così di attribuire goal segnati e ammonizioni/espulsioni alla
singola miniatura
raffigurante il singolo giocatore di calcio reale, es. Zanetti o Totti) ma
anche a crearci un nostro
regolamento di gioco, partendo proprio dal regolamento del calcio reale. Con tutto il
dovuto rispetto per chi utilizza i regolamenti di gioco del Calcio da tavolo e
del Subbuteo
tradizionale,
giocando ci rendemmo infatti conto che i nostri bambini conoscevano meglio le
regole del calcio reale
(utilizzato anche nei videogiochi), mentre non conoscevano affatto regole
proprie dei regolamenti
sopraccitati, come il “back” o il “back al volo”. Delle regole del
“Subbuteo tradizionale” eliminammo così tutto ciò che ci appariva superfluo e lasciammo solo
ciò che ci sembrava necessario (eliminammo ad esempio il “back”, il “back al
volo” e gli
“shoot-out”, mentre mantenemmo, sempre ad esempio, la linea di tiro presente
sul campo di gioco Subbuteo e
il limite dei tre tocchi consecutivi per singola miniatura). Il nostro gioco
non era più basato sulle regole del “Subbuteo tradizionale” e decidemmo, in
piena libertà, di
denominarlo “Calcio miniaturizzato”, anche per non confonderlo con i termini
già esistenti di “Calcio da
tavolo” e “Calcio in miniatura” A maggio del
2009, decidemmo di costituirci in associazione ludica senza fini di lucro.
Scrivemmo un atto costitutivo
ed uno statuto e decidemmo di denominarci Real Tripolitania dal nome della Via
di Roma dove è nato
il Club.
Ci ponemmo anche
il dubbio se avesse senso denominarci come “Subbuteo Club” o chiamarci direttamente
“Club di calcio miniaturizzato”. Alla fine vinse
“Subbuteo Club” perché il termine “Subbuteo” conservava e conserva ancora oggi
in sé qualcosa di
speciale e nostalgico per noi adulti, vecchi ragazzi degli anni ’70 e ’80;
senza contare che comunque
giocavamo utilizzando proprio materiale Subbuteo o sue repliche. Certamente
eravamo e siamo consapevoli di essere incompatibili da un punto di vista
regolamentare con tutto il
resto dell’Universo subbuteistico, in particolare con il mondo del
Calciotavolismo (troppo simile per noi al
biliardo e poco simile al calcio reale) e con il mondo del Subbuteo
tradizionale, ma tant’è… il
Subbuteo è bello proprio perché ognuno lo può intendere come vuole, ovunque e comunque lo si
giochi. L’importante è che al primo posto ci siano sempre i valori
dell’amicizia, della lealtà, della
sportività e del divertimento, valori che ogni padre dovrebbe trasmettere al
proprio figlio.
8)Was it really necessary to create complete new Rules? Weren't already enough the existing ones?
To answer this question, we need to go back in time to 10
years ago and to the primary objective of the founders of the Club: we wanted to let children and parents
to play together. Us fathers understood that our children (each one was a supporter of a different football
team) would be interested more in the game if the miniatures looked like the players they loved. In this
regard I REMEMBER THAT ONE OF THE CHILDREN WAS A Milan supporter and in front of some anonymous
miniatures he asked me which were Pato and Ronaldinho.
Since I am capable of painting miniatures and that Milan was
my LW I decided to modify the team inserting personalized Disk covers, painting real numbers behind the
jersey and inserting the captain armband and painting some players black. The next Friday I took the
personalized team and the kids loved it, and they all
wanted me to paint their teams. The distancing from
Traditional Subbuteo had just started. To make the game even more appealing for the children we
started giving yellow and red cards to players
and creating our own ruleset, starting from the rules of
football.
With respect for who uses the rules of Table football and Traditional Subbuteo, playing we found that our children only knew the rules of real football (used even in
videogames) but knew nothing of the rules of these games. Of the Traditional Subbuteo rules we eliminated everything
we thought was unnecessary (we
eliminated for example “back” and “shoot-out” and kept the
shooting area, and the three-touches limitation for the single miniature).
Our game wasn’t based on the traditional Subbuteo ruleset
and so we decided to call it “Miniaturized football” so it wouldn’t be confused with “Table Football” and
“Miniature Football”.
In May 2009 we decided to become a no-profit gaming
association. We wrote a constituent act and a statute and to call ourselves Real Tripolitania, with Tripolitania
being the name of the street where we founded the club. We even asked ourselves if it would have been better
to call the club “Subbuteo Club” or to call it “Miniaturized Football Club”. In the end “Subbuteo club” won because the term “Subbuteo”
keeps something special and nostalgic for us
adults, old kids of the 70’s and 80’s. We also play with Subbuteo material or Replicas. Certainly,
we were and are incompatible with the rest of the Subbuteo universe, in particular with the world of table
football (too similar to pool in our opinion). The
important thing is that in the first spot there are always
the values of friendship, loyalty, sportsmanship and fun, values that every father should share with his son.

9)Perché avete
allora aderito alla Lega Nazionale Subbuteo-LNS?
Abbiamo accolto
con entusiasmo l’invito ad entrare nella Lega Nazionale Subbuteo-LNS (per il momento,
simbolicamente, con il solo settore juniores composto di padri e figli insieme)
perché riteniamo che,
pur con le nostre diversità, possiamo, nel nostro piccolo, dare e ricevere
qualcosa anche noi
nell’Universo subbuteistico, del quale comunque, pur con le nostre differenze,
facciamo parte.
Libertà vuol dire
poter essere differenti, ma la differenza, nel Subbuteo come in tutte le altre
cose, non deve essere
poi tradotta in giudizio e diffidenza, che generano solo chiusura, divisione ed
esclusione. La diversità
invece deve essere vista come possibilità di arricchimento reciproco, avendo
come obiettivo una
comunità di soggetti in cui tutti coesistono in armonia pur rimanendo nelle
proprie differenze. Noi siamo entrati
nella LNS perché riteniamo che, nell’Universo subbuteistico, la Lega Nazionale
Subbuteo,
affiliata al Coni, non sia un’altra sigla che si vada ad aggiungere a tante
altre già esistenti, contribuendo
all’ulteriore frazionamento di un mondo già di per sé frazionato, ma possa
servire al contrario a
creare una comunità coesa per il raggiungimento di un obiettivo comune a tutti,
divertirci e far divertire i
nostri figli, in modo che il Subbuteo (in qualunque forma lo si intenda, Calcio
da
tavolo, Subbuteo
tradizionale o Calcio miniaturizzato) possa sopravvivere anche alle future generazioni.
9)So why did you decide to join the Lega Nazionale Subbuteo?
We accepted with enthusiasm the invite to enter the National
Subbuteo League (Lega Nazionale SubbuteoLNS) (Symbolically for the moment, with
only the junior sector composed of fathers and children) because we think that, even if we are different, we can, with our
differences, do our part. Freedom means being different
but differences in Subbuteo and in life mustn’t become
judgement and mistrust that generate only closure, division and exclusion. Diversity is a chance for reciprocal

entered the LNS because we think that, in the
Subbuteo
Universe, the LNS, affiliated to CONI ( Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano,
the Italian National Olympic Committee), isn’t just another acronym that adds to
the many ones that exist, contributing to the fractioning of a fractioned enough world. It could help to
create a community that works toward a common objective: having fan with our children, so that Subbuteo
(In any way you intend it: Table Footbal, Traditional Subbuteo or Miniaturized Football) can be passed on to
future generations.
