Strange match turned out for Dortmund which seemed really on course for a positive result for the whole first half and only stopped by a superb Lloris who saved everything that was coming on his way especially from Pulisic and Zagadou. Not much from the Spurs that followed probably better instructions by Pochettino in the second half. The Korean sensation gave the lead to the Spurs after a nice coral action after only 2 minutes and that opened the dance for the English team especially when Jan Vertonghen decided to become protagonist scoring the 2-0 over a great ball crossed by Aurier and Llorente put an end of this tie heading in the 3-0 thanks to a perfect corner cross by Eriksen. We can't see Dortmund getting this back! 3-0 is such a heavy defeat! Germans black out in the second half!

It was almost touching to see the Ajax Amsterdam playing such a wonderful game putting in serious difficulty the CL holders Real Madrid. The first half was practically and completely in the hands of the host which pressed the opponents in their own pitch. Very dangerous but very imprecise in front of goal. The amount of chances wasted by Ajax was remarkable. We must say that Courtois did some great saves on Ziyech but it was also lucky in the occasion of the Tadic's post and even more when the referee disallowed a Tagliafico's header goal thanks to the VAR intervention! So somehow the first half ended up 0-0, incredible. Probably Santiago Solari must have shouted a lot in the locker room because Madrid was way better in the second half. Real got the lead thanks to a powerful strike by Benzema after the hot prospect Vinicius Jr. brought around for shopping the all Ajax's defence before serving a perfect assist to Karim. Their lead only lasted 15 minutes. A cross from the left flank found Ziyech perfectly placed in the middle of the area pushing the equalise ball in. Match winner the luxury substitute Marco Asensio, ready to capitalise a perfect cross by Carvajal from the right! It's gonna be tough for the Ajax to upset this 1-2 leg but you never know!
