FOOTBALL MANAGER 17 LEGENDARY LEICESTER CITY : Season 2075-2076 !! The MIRACLE season !

Hello! This game will never finish to surprise and excite us! After one of the worst season...recently..... and after a board that was almost getting tired of us ,we must say that probably all our experience in this game literally saved us! As you might have read in our 2074-2075 review, we "tricked" the board to gave us a new contract, then we sold top players in their 30ies in order to give space to amazing younger strikers and also to make the most of their value in cash. We also changed the Assistant Manager,Director of Football and several coaches. It was a very strange season with Leicester City,Manchester City and Chelsea far away from all the others! 

This never really happened that often in our game. We totally murdered the Premier League. Still we managed to win it only in the last match!?! Guess what?? We lost our 37th fixture against Manchester City for 6-1!!! Then we managed to beat Chelsea for 2-0 in the last match and that's how we conquered the title.
The season started amazing. We just couldn't lose. The squad depth was amazing and the youngsters came out kinda quickly.
We also won the EFL cup thanks to the great commitment from the players that didn't often start in the First team. Squad depth is everything if you wanna compete for everything.
This year also happened something that was a first for us. We wanted to buy a strong goalkeeper from Real Madrid so we asked the board to deal with it and they agreed!! So they got it no matter the price because they FINALLY agreed with us!! End of the story: he s sitting on the bench now because the young goalkeeper became a pro !!! What a time to be alive!

So, we didn't feel we had many chances in the Champions league this season but thanks to few lucky draws we managed to get the Semi Finals and gosh we got the Atletico Madrid..... we thought we were definitely going to get smashed after a 1-1 at Santaniello Arena. The second leg looked like a mission impossible BUT our best striker and Premier League goalscorer of this season, decided to make a sensational hat trick which gave us an incredible 2-3 victory giving us the access to the Final against Girondins de Bordeaux!
The final started like a nightmare. We started with our classic 3-4-1-2 but after 18 minutes we were already down by one and with no chances created..... so frustrating....we decided to wait the half time for a GREAT talk face to face with the players.... at 60' things didn't change at all then we decided some drastic... we modified the tactics getting into a new 3-2-2-2 using very offensive wingers and we substituted our 2 AMAZING wingers with 2 amazing youngsters and our First Team AM(c), so called "El Pibe", and guess who we put in ?!!? Do you remember our baby MATTIA LONGO !?! well he's now 18 and guess who scored the 1-1 at 75'?!??! him !!!!! 
LITERALLY UNBELIEVABLE! we managed to get the penalties and we decided to put LONGO as last penalty kicker AND GUESS WHO SCORED THE WINNING PENALTY?!?!?! LONGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GUYS THIS IS SUCH AN UNBELIEVABLE FM STORY.... SERIOUSLY! We will keep you posted about the career of this great prospect which had his debut the past season scoring an unbelievable goal!

Talking about National Team. We decide to leave the Argentina bench in order to get the Holland one! We already lost 2 friendlies but it takes  a while to find the right tactics and players. We did  awful with Argentina at the very beginning but after 50 matches managing them we won the Copa America (2075). So let's hope we can face the upcoming European Championship well!
