Hello people! What a season! We managed to succeed in the Premier League once again even if only for 3 points since the Manchester City, after winning 2 consecutive Champions League, was always there and around! This was a very important season for us because we were looking for answers and continuity! We totally reached both! The season didn't start great, losing the Community Shield against Man City but we managed to get several revenges anyway. We also lost the EFL Cup Final against Arsenal at penalties.... damn penalties... We We wanted to start talking about the negatives because the positives were too many. Starting from our best Striker YAKUBU. By now you should know we paid an awful amount of money for him (Thanks to the special intervention of the board THANK GOD!!) but this season he totally murdered everything. Please see pictures below. Even if the numbers are not THAT impressive still he won practically everything! Well deserved. If you want a very successful career at Football Manager you always must have a super strong striker.
Besides winning the Premier League title (our 36 one!) we won the FA CUP practically always using the "2nd Team" - even if we always do a big rotation of all players, we rarely use players with a 90% condition, never for 90 minutes anyway - and even the Champions League , finally, after losing the past edition final against Man City. Once again we got Real Madrid and once again we beat them. This time at the Round of 16!! We were not even in a great moment of the season, we were dropping points in the league and our title chances were much less than we were expecting. An aggressive team meeting and a lot of fines to players worked very well we guess!!
It's time to refresh players now. Some big are getting old (around 30 years old. We barely keep 30 years old players. Our average is usually between 23 and 25 years old!). We are working on the new Transfer Market right now.
In the previous post you know we were going to play the Portugal World Cup 2078 managing Spain and we did. The story is actually incredible with a final sour. We practically had the worst World Cup ever, got kicked out already after 2 matches.... so we decide to resign! Coward you think BUT then the crazy situation! We checked the Job Centre and noticed that the U.S.A., stIll in competition, were looking for a manager! So they picked me very quickly! A quick check to the players to choose suitable tactics and go! You would never believe .... we reached the FUCKIN WORLD CUP FINAL AND EVEN GOT THE LEAD AT 56' against CROATIA!! Then the sour part.... at 66' we were already down by 1 :( The final finished 1-2 but U.S.A. board was almost making us a statue. Consider we got the USA right before the match against ENGLAND 0-0!!
