Hello Foxes!! We definitely had the illusion that we were about to dominate the world (see past season) then we brutally woke up from our season start: lost the Community Shield, the European Super Cup and even the first Premier League match! What a nightmare start! In mid october we were like 10th in the league! But totally got the problem. Few players were a bit "bored" to play for us, maybe too many years or so and we started to bench them and the new comers, full of motivations, definitely started to grab their chances so we slowly started to win games, even "dirty" wins , the best ones in order to get the title!
We are at the point that we need to sell some super top players getting old so we started to introduce younger players in the First Team as usual so that was also something that slowed us down a bit. Anyway it turned out that we won the Premier League once again and kinda smoothly since the other teams lost a lot of points on the run!
Changing shape of the team always is a problem for facing the Champions League. Many youngsters shake in that competition so we got kicked out by Roma in the Quarter Finals. We've been a bit unlucky as well anyway. Also we didn't care much of the National cups as soon as we understood that we needed the very best team in order to win the title. Luckily we were right. So we celebrated our 6th title in a row and we definitely wanna keep breaking records! We won the Club World Championships
We also resigned from Ukraine National team. Wasn't exciting much, to be honest, so we better step out of it and wait for a better team. We'll get our chance! We still wanna win the WORLD CUP!!!
We are now refreshing the team selling some top players except YAKUBU and NAVARRO our two great strikers. For the first time ever we are keeping a 31 and a 30 years old striker but we also have couple of great 24 years old that often come in during our big rotation. They will be First Team more constantly the next season.
