Hello! Yes we do know it has been ages but when the passion pulses you just cannot stop it! Here we are again! After 9 amazing titles in a row we had to give way to Chelsea which kinda murdered the Premier League this season. We were leading for a while then we lost couple of amazing players for long injuries ( a super strong Box to Box midfielder and our main striker ) so we feel like we can "hide" behind that!
But whatever because the game always leave some magic for us! We've been very lucky in Champions League but seeing Chelsea so on form we totally felt we were going down at some point because of them. The fate wanted to put us against each other in the FINAL!!!! We started a defensive match. The Blues were just way better than us and we knew it but around the 34' mins something amazing happened! One of their players got sent off!!!!! So we were like 11 Vs 10 men for a long time. We still managed to get down by one because we threw ourselves too forward and we got beaten in a counter-attack. Nevermind. We still had a man more and still 45 mins to play! Indeed we started to attack constantly and you could just tell Chelsea were about to sink. In the injury time a cross was put in the middle and the ball has been blasted in for a thrilling 1-1 which brought us to the extra time!!! What a match! The first extra time went on boringly but the magic happened in the second extra time. We decided to OVERLOAD players in front because we didn't really wanna get the penalties. Our choice was perfect because after 2 great save by their keeper our Inside Forward right tapped the ball in for a glorious 1-2 !!!! We've won 5 Champions League in the past 9 editions!! Not bad!!
We were kinda disappointed instead because of the way we lost the FA Cup Final against a 12th PL positioned West Ham. Let's say that our heads were already 7 days after thinking of the CL Final. Well fuck it! We were happy to find glory in Europe giving us the opportunity to play in the World Club Championship and extend our record of consecutive victories there. We just can't lose!
Regarding the National Team, we are now trying to qualify Serbia to the next European Championship! Let's see! We definitely fancy our chances!
