 Hello! We are back with our Interviews! We are here to introduce you another Italian for our "10ForYou" X Actually Subbuteo! Let's meet Terry from UK:

Great "tribute" ball : MARADONA 10! 

1)Who are you, what do you do, where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo?

I am Terry and I design custom made subbuteo balls, I am from Brighton, Me and my son George collect subbuteo and we play together, He has Autism and i have tried to find ways over the years to keep him off game consoles and now i have he loves subbuteo.

1)Chi Sei, cosa fai e perche' la tua vita e' correlata al Subbuteo ?

Mi chiamo Terry e creo Palline Subbuteo (anche su commissione). Sono di Brighton; io e mio figlio George collezioniamo Subbuteo e giochiamo insieme. Lui e'autistico ed ho cercato di fare il possibile per tenerlo lontano da video games e consoles. Adesso ho trovato il modo, grazie al Subbuteo!

2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)

My first memory was italia 90 when seeing it in the toy stores and fell in love with subbuteo.

2)Qual e' il tuo primo ricordo del Subbuteo ? (La tua prima volta) 

Il mio primo ricordo fu guardare nel negozio di giocattoli il set di Italia 90. Amore a prima vista.

3)We know you have a passion for Subbuteo balls! When did you start making them ? 

I came up with the idea a few months ago as a custom for me only and showing what i have done and now i have been asked to make them for other people.

3)Sappiamo che hai una passione per la palline Subbuteo! Quando hai iniziato a crearle?

E' un'idea nata qualche mese fa, le creavo per me. Dopo averle anche mostrate ad altre persone, adesso inizio ad avere richieste e commissioni.

4)Are you also a Subbuteo Player or a collector? or what else?

I hardly have any time to play myself only messing around with George but we collect and i have set up an instagram page for myself and him called subbuteofans and now i have set up a facebook group called the ball that matters, to sell by work.

4)Sei anche un giocatore di Subbuteo? Un Collezionista? o altro?

Difficilmente riesco a trovare il tempo per giocare da me, usualmente riesco un po' con George ma preferiamo collezionare. Abbiamo anche un nostro account instagram (subbuteofans) ed ho da poco creato un gruppo facebook chiamato THE BALL THAT MATTERS, per vendere i miei lavori.

5)Did you ever take part in Subbuteo events ? If Yes, which one ?

I haven't taken part in any events as yet but it is something i am going to look into.

5)Hai mai partecipato ad eventi ufficiali Subbuteo? Se SI,quali?

Non ho mai partecipato a nessun evento, al momento, ma e' qualcosa che prendero' in considerazione presto.

6)What's your favourite team ? What's the rarest team as a collector (if you collect)?

My favourite teams are Arsenal and Sampdoria and Barnet because i was born in north london and with sampdoria i have always supported them.

6)Qual e' la tua squadra preferita ? e quella piu' rara ?

Le mie squadre preferite sono l'Arsenal, la Sampdoria ed il Barnet, perche' sono nato nella zona nord di Londra ed insieme alla Samp, li ho sempre tifati.

7)What do you think about associations like WASPA and FISTF ?

I think they are great and putting subbuteo back on the map.

7)Cosa pensi di associazioni come FISTF e WASPA? 

Penso siano ottime per dare una nuova vetrina al Subbuteo.

8)Positive and negative aspects in the Subbuteo World?

There are some many people doing different things and bringing new ideas to the subbuteo world which is great but the negative for me is that it is not big like it used to be. 

8)Aspetti positivi e negativi del mondo Subbuteo?

Ci sono moltissime persone che fanno cose differenti portando nuove idee nel Subbuteo, il che e' fantastico anche se, per me , l'aspetto negativo e'che non e' piu' cosi'grande come in passato.

Si, molto. Amo quello che creao e sono molto appassionato nel farlo anche sapendo che la gente li apprezza molto.

We would love to thank Terry and George :) for giving us their time to show their passion. George definitely is very lucky to have a guy like you around and viceversa :) We hope you will create a lot more and can enjoy using the balls on the fields in many passionate matches Vs George and others !!
