FOOTBALL MANAGER 17 LEGENDARY SAVE now at SPORTING CLUB DE PORTUGAL. Season 2102/03: 5 times in the past 8 years !!

Hello FM 17 lovers and passionate about our legendary save! We are back at it! 5 times in the past 8 years !  We had a great league season even if, once again, we only managed to win the title in the last match! This time it was Fc Porto right behind our neck for most of the season and not so far from us even SL Benfica believed in the goal at some point. 

I am very satisfied of what I am creating here at Sporting and the league is very funny, it's always a last critical match that decides the whole season! 

With great satisfaction we also demolished Fc Porto in a thrilling 7-1 at home and incredible it doesn't show up in the season review!! How come ?!! However we literally destroyed them! 

Our policy to get people at the end of their contract keeps paying off so well. We got an amazing striker - from Napoli - who scored 24 goals in the league. We also ROMANTICALLY managed to sign, always for free, MURAT THOSUN, one of our huge talents at Leicester City and one of the best players of our FM in the past years. Obviously he came at Sporting Clube at 35 years old but the guy still delivered something like 15 goals in the whole season and definitely helped us to win the title. We remember a great hat-trick he did in one of the last matches of the season. He then decided to retire and we didn't wanna renew is contract anyway because his wage was a bit too high for a 36 years old guy, about 58k/w .

Another great satisfaction was beating FC PORTO in the Taca Cup Final , for 1-0 thanks to a penalty scored by Fan Bo, our chinese DM, who firstly brought in just to get some more fans in China and sell more merchandising in addition to expand our fanbase but secondly, the guy actually started to play not bad at all so we are keeping him around. However we did some amazing great signings in the upcoming season 2103/04 so we are seriously considering what to do with him. Might be the right time for a farewell.

The Euro Cup campaign was great just regarding the group stage, but we got kicked out by RLB in the Quarter Final. The name RLB is a  big one but they were actually underachieving in the German First Division since they were laying in the 16th position!!! SO we should have done much better ..... nevermind we ll try the Champions League, once again, next season. We must improve our CL performances and I am working on it. There are plenty of cash in the bank , something around 138 Millions but there s no necessity to spend  just yet. We have the whole team set and probably, in a season or two we ll start bidding on very high profile players but we must get, at least, the CL quarter finals somehow in order to raise, even more, the club stature! Let's see !

Also very glad I reached 5700 in game matches and won, once again, the Manager of the year !
