Hello FM17 lovers and passionate of my legendary save! If the past season Copa Libertadores spot was seriously unexpected, imagine how it was the title we won this season! I have been struggling the first season back at El Fortin especially because I was facing a 200 M debts I found. I had to re-build from scratch with bargains, as I often do anyway, I fit them in my tactics. The hardest part was selling SEVERAL WORLD CHAMPIONS TO BE wonderkid which allowed me to make cash and help the club!
So glad it will only take 3 years more in order to end the debt and from that point we will definitely try to dominate Argentina once again! The story is similar to my past one, when I picked up Velez in the Segunda Division and brought them to Club World Championship and 9 consecutive titles, along the other 14 for a grand total of 24 titles under my lead since I First got Argentina.
It was a very hard season but luckily the youngster grew up and started to score more goals and it definitely helped. In this kind of league, you must have a scoring striker if you wanna hope to win it all. It's very competitive and there are often several teams that are few inches from getting the title, till the end!
Independiente remained a chaser this time even if both of us dropped a huge amount of points! Imagine that I managed to win the title even doing 4 draws one lost and 1 win in the last 6 matches! It means they did even worse! I consider myself very lucky to have won the title this time but I guess we all run out of energies in the end.
Colon kicked us out the Copa Argentina Quarter Final and Flamengo was unfortunately our opponent after doing well in the group. They smashed us away easily, they are Brazilian champions 3 times in a row so the draw could have been way better!
As National Team I am back at it with South Korea this time. Let's see how it goes!
