Hello FM17 lovers and passionate of my legendary save! Yes I did it again ! I left Argentina and Velez Sarsfield for my third time in order to move to Bulgaria, precisely to CSKA Sofia. If you follow my facebook group you know I moved, in real life, to Sofia, and just like I did when I moved to Lisbon, I decided to do the same here which makes the game also more exciting! I wanted to move to either LEVSKI or CSKA, they hate each other here, I can tell. I tried several times to apply to both while I was at Velez and fate wanted that, at some point, CSKA Sofia chose me!
I left Velez after another Primera Division domination see league table below (I left few months before the league ended but it was already in my pocket !). I left after winning a lot with them including a DREAM season which also brought the Copa Libertadores and Club World Championship !!!! Who knows maybe someday I will go back once again. I love Velez too much but my life is moving on and Sofia will be my place for a while more.
The biggest problem in the Bulgarian league is the money. Ludogorets is winning practically every year since hundred years with few LEVSKI exception so you can tell it is a real challenge to get CSKA Sofia. I picked them when they were like 13th position and I miraculously managed to get them arrive to the European places Play Off Quarter Final ! In which we lost against Cherno more only because an away goal!!
the season that just ended 2227/2228 was better even if we one of the worst defence of the league. Even in this case we lost at the European places Play Off Quarter Final.
Main problems: a lot of injuries, very hard to attract decent players, no appeal, no international football since a very long time.
Solutions: loaning youngsters from Argentina, doing capital gain reselling players and doing links with Senior Affiliation clubs.
It's going to take a lot of patience and skills to get to win this league, which is impossible at the moment.Ludogorets players have values like 1/2 MIL while my best player has 475k value !!!!!
We need European football in order to attract better players and I will definitely try to make it next season! Imporant it to avoid being outclassed which is what the board demands.
