Europa League Round of 16: Lazio and Milan struggle !

The Europa League is back and it was full of hopes for the Italian supporters especially for the Milan's one who were coming after an impressive positive run. Unfortunately for them last night's opponents was called Arsenal (despite their awful run in the Premier League) and no matter they were playing at San Siro Stadium but the Wenger's experience definitely made it easy for the Gunners to come out with a solid 0-2 victory scoring all the goals in the first half. It only took 14' minutes to Mkhitaryan to score the first goal. Let's say that Milan's defensive line didn't do a great job at least in the first half. You could underline that especially after the 0-2 when Ramsey found himself all alone in front of Donnarumma, rounding him and scoring the second goal. The Gattuso's team simply couldn't do better last night. They are probably very focused on the Serie A and looked like they really never believed they could come with anything out of this match.

Unfortunately for Lazio the Dynamo Kyiv was a tougher opponent than they thought. After a rather balanced first half the match changed at 52' when Viktor Tsyhankov got a ball in the small area next to the keeper and surprising everyone with a back heel for the 0-1. The Lazio supporters didn't lose energy and you could hear them cheering up the Laziali who did a great early equalizer thanks to a precise vertical assist by Felipe Anderson to Ciro Immobile who beat the goalkeeper who had no chances. 1-1 at 54'! The Brazilian player was on fire indeed it was him who scored with a left foot low ball shot the 2-1 at 62'. The cold over the Olimpico Stadium came in when Junior Moraes incredible fired a powerful strike from long distance who left completely speechless everyone, especially a powerless Strakosha 2-2. At 90'+6' Garmash got a red card and Ciro Immobile got a post which could have given the victory to Simone Inzaghi. Anyway WE believe Lazio can definitely make it in the second leg. Much less hopes for Milan but we will see!

Good luck to both!
