Actually Subbuteo: "10 For You" with Ivan Castello' !

Few weeks ago we got in touch on Instagram and now we are already posting this nice interview with a Soccer/Football commentator. Let's discover who is he! "10 For You" x Actually Subbuteo presents Ivan:

Ivan Castello' from Eurosport!

1)Who are you, what do you do, where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo? 

I am the current managing editor of Eurosport.es, the digital Spanish version of Eurosport.com, and a TV pundit in Movistar + with Fiebre Maldini, a weekly show of vintage football. I am a very passionate Spanish sports journalist who collects all kinds of football memorabilia, especially shirts.   

1)Chi Sei, cosa fai e perche' la tua vita e' correlata al Subbuteo ?

Sono il Managing Editor di Eurosport.es, della piattaforma digitale in versione Spagnola di Eurosport.com , un critico TV per Movistar Plus con Fiebre Maldini, uno show settimanale su Calcio Vintage. Sono un appassionato giornalista sportivo spagnolo che colleziona ogni sorta di calcio memorabilia specialmente le magliette!

2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo? 

Unforgettable day. When I was child, around five or six, my parents bought me on holidays in Porto (Portugal) a complete Subbuteo game part by part with the pitch, the goals and four portuguese teams: Benfica, Sporting, Braga and Setúbal.   

2)Qual'e' il tuo primo ricordo del Subbuteo ? (La tua prima volta)

Un giorno indimenticabile. Quando ero bambino, intorno ai 5 o 6 anni, I miei genitori mi comprarono un completo set di Subbuteo con campo, porte e 4 squadre portoghesi (Benfica, Sporting, Braga e Setubal) durante una vacanza a Porto in Portogallo. 

3) Are you a Subbuteo collector? A player or what else?

I keep my old subbuteo equipment and whenever I see them I buy new modern equipment. Málaga and Atlético have been my last acquisitions.

A former player of Subbuteo but although of ‘futbolchapas’ (with bottle sheets), more creative and accessible for us in Spain without an official supplier of Subbuteo for years and years. 

3)Sei un collezionista di Subbuteo? Un giocatore o cos'altro? 

Conservo il mio equipaggiamento Old Subbuteo ed ogni volta che le vedo compro squadre del Nuovo. Malaga e Atletico sono state i miei acquisti piu' recenti. 

Sono un ex-giocatore di Subbuteo ma piu' di Futbolchapas (con i tappi di bottiglia) piu' creativo ed accessibile per noi in Spagna data l'assenza di un Supplier Ufficiale per anni ed anni.

4)Did you ever take part in Subbuteo events? If Yes which one ?

Not yet but of course in ‘futbolchapas’ official League in Madrid a few years ago. I was very proud of that when I played in Third Division with my Feyenoord team. The lack of time prevented my progression to the top.

4)Hai mai partecipato ad altri eventi Subbuteo ? Se si quali ?

Non ancora ma certamente ho partecipato alla Lega Ufficiale di Madrid di Futbolchapas qualche anno fa. Ero molto orgoglioso allora quando giocai nella Terza Divisione con la mia squadra Feyenord. La mancanza di tempo ha impedito la mia scalata verso il top!

5)Tell us something about your Subbuteo life.

A dream of my childhood, always a pleasure.  

5) Di qualcosa riguardo la tua Vita Subbuteo.

Un sogno di quando ero bambino, sempre un piacere. 

6)What's your favourite team? 

Atlético de Madrid in Spain, Feyenoord in Holland because I like very much Eredivisie as a TV commentator in Spain.

6)Qual'e' la tua squadra preferita ?

In Spagna e' l'Atletico Madrid, in Olanda e' il Feyenord perche' mi piace molto la Eredivisie , da commentatore Tv in Spagna.

7)Which one is the rarest Subbuteo team for you? 

St. Etienne with numbers in transparent stickers. I had it.

7)Qual'e' secondo te la squadra piu' rara ? 

Il Saint Etienne con i numeri adesivi in bianco. L'ho avuta.

8)Did you ever comment a Subbuteo Match in your life ? Do you think you would like to do it ? 

Yes, of course. A whole test.

8)Hai mai commentato una partita di Subbuteo nella tua vita? Pensi che ti piacerebbe farlo ?

Certamente! Un testo intero!
