This was the first official match for an Italian team. The Europa League Second qualify Round - Atalanta Vs Sarajevo supposed to be a rather easy match for the Bergamaschi. Indeed the first half was totally dominated by the Gasperini's team. The coach actually already knew something could have gone wrong if you listened to his pre-match claims. Great performance by Papu Gomez who was very hard to catch - as always - even if he didn't score being stopped many times by the Sarajevo's keeper Mujakic! Still the first half ended up on 2-0 thanks to the defenders Toloi (11') and Gianluca Mancini (45'+3'). Similar actions with a cross, a ball put in the middle and the right players and the right moments! The second half saw Barrow missing a HUGE chance squandering it so badly all alone in front of the keeper. It's again Barrow to give a great assist to Gosens who shot sure to score but the ball was saved miraculously on the line and cleared away! Then the Atalanta's black out. At 67' out of the blue Haris Handzic managed someone to score with a nice volley despite the whole Atalanta's defensive line was well placed, 2-1. Only 5 minutes after Aladin Sisic was able to be faster than three defenders and even beating the keeper with a shot right over the bar. In this occasion someone should have cleared the ball away before giving the chance to the Sarajevo striker! 2-2 and now Gasperini will have to get the victory in the second leg away in Sarajevo!
