World Cup 2018 Round of 16 : All wrapped up! Drama England and Sweden go on!

The Round of 16 is already gone! The World Cup is literally flying away ! The last two matches were Sweden-Switzerland and England-Colombia. Switzerland did all they could in order to make an historical appearance in the WC Quarter Finals but unfortunately their attack weak point cost them all. Many chances were created by nice passes and crosses by Shaqiri and Rodriguez but simply they need a strong striker in the future. Sweden on the other hand missed several very good chances for their lack of precision getting in the last 16 meters but luckily for them they can often punish with their offensive midfielders just like Forsberg did at 66' when his powerful shot lightly deflected got in for the 1-0 and that was also the final result! Pity for Switzerland which gave the impression that could have gone at least to the extra-time but Sweden had that something more to be one of the first 8 teams in the World

The other match was England-Colombia! Definitely most of the game was made by England and honestly looked like the Colombians were more trying to upset the British more than actually fighting on the pitch. Many simulations by them as well which was rather disappointing to see. Much better Harry Kane and friends! Very focused on getting the result sometimes finding a very ready Ospina on their way. At 54' Carlos Sanchez pulled Harry Kane down in the penalty box! The referee made the call and right after he was completely surrounded by the Colombia players. In the occasion Sanchez got even booked. The bomber Kane couldn't miss that chance and at 55' the result was 1-0. The Colombian pride started to push from that time till the end. Few occasions missed by Bacca and a huge one by Cuadrado who shot over the bar from a very good position and almost all alone in the right part of the area. He was probably a bit too wide and he should have thought about a  better solution than that. Luckily for the South American they had a guy that everyone will remember after this World Cup: Yerri Mina! The guy scored his 3rd goal in the WC bringing is team to the Extra-Time. Corner by Cuadrado and once again Mina's header went in! 1-1 at the dramatic time of 90'+3'! Mina is now also the 2nd highest all the time goalscorer of Colombia in the World Cup History!
The match obviously ended up to the Penalty kick lottery! The mistakes made by Uribe and Bacca gave the qualification to England which only missed the penalty with Jordan Henderson.

QUARTER FINALS:

URUGUAY-FRANCE
BRAZIL-BELGIUM
SWEDEN-ENGLAND
RUSSIA-CROATIA
