EUROPA LEAGUE 2018-2019: Lazio fell to pieces! Milan's pride came out later on!

Seems like all the Italians did so well in this European cups fixture! All of them got 3 points except of Lazio who got a very heavy 4-1 defeat by the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt! Kind of unexpected to be honest especially because after losing badly the Derby della Capitale in the last Italian Serie A clash everyone was waiting for a great come back in Europa League. A lot of Lazio supporters were very angry on social media after this bad loss. Milinkovic Savic is losing value week by week. He's actually dropping like a fly. Well WE always said that he has been overrated since the very beginning and indeed he probably did one good match in the past 5 months including the World Cup Russia 2018. We must also say that the referee wasn't particularly friendly with the Biancocelesti leaving them in 9 men after two red cards shown to Dusan Basta 45'+3' and a deserved one to Joaquin Correa. The match didn't start very well getting down after only 4 minutes thanks to Danny Da Costa (he will also score the 4-1 at 90'+4'). Marco Parolo equalised the match at 23' and that didn't last much because at 28' the Germans were up again with Filip Kostic. Lazio got the 3-1 at 52' by Luka Jovic while they were already in 10 men. Just a bad dream for Simone Inzaghi or at least this is what everyone is hoping. Great occasion to prove a point is the upcoming Serie A home fixture against Fiorentina. Winning that match will definitely lift all the spirits.

Milan had a tough match but eventually they came out in style also showing great skills in tactics and game construction. Once again Patrick Cutrone absolute protagonist scoring two goals (70' and 79') and in between them also time to El Pipita Higuain to put his mark at 76'. 10 minutes of Hell for Olympiacos which actually got an early lead at 14' with Miguel Angel Guerrero and kept it till 20 minutes from the end! If we check the points Milan probably deserved the win but they did risk not to get anything positive out of this match. Gattuso keeps the positive mood after the other great result against Sassuolo in the last Serie A match. The calendar is also rather kind since the next opponent in the league will be Chievo which is definitely not doing good at all. Well done Ringhio!
