It's just insane how Olympiacos beat 3-1 Milan...The Italian mass media were shouting shocked to the penalty kick conceded but actually for US it was not that shocking at all. Abate clearly hugged Torosidis not allowing him to jump properly and he was about to get that ball. The referee was in a very favourable position so come on, you cannot hug an opponent in the middle of the penalty box during a corner kick and hoping none will see you. So FOR US it was a good call but definitely not an easy one. The first half wasn't announcing anything like a 3-1 defeat but Cutrone and Higuain simply didn't do their job. Especially El Pipita, he's just not him anymore. The second half was just awful just like the many mistakes made by Kessie and also Calhanoglu should have done better without counting some great saves by Pepe Reina. The Karaiskakis Stadium did the rest. Very hard to play in that kind of atmosphere especially when you are down by one. What a pity. If Gattuso will manage to keep his place on the bench at least he can now focus exclusively on the Italian Serie A and Italian Cup. There are still nice things to grab in the competitions. Not too bad the 1-2 Lazio's defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt. Simone Inzaghi said he still got his answers from some players that were much needed for him. The Biancocelesti already qualified only lost attention in the last 20 minutes where they got two very beautiful goals actually.
