1)Chi Sei, cosa fai e come la tua vita e' correlata al Subbuteo ?

Sono Stefano Puzzo, ceramista di Milano, lavoro presso lo storico laboratorio di ceramiche fondato dai miei genitori nel 1976. Qui realizzo delle statue di omini del subbuteo decorate a mano h30 cm, un oggetto che negli anni mi ha dato molte soddisfazioni.

1)Who are you, what do you do, where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo?

I'am Stefano Puzzo, a ceramist from Milan and I work at my parent's historical Ceramics Lab founded in 1976. That's also the place where I create statues representing Subbuteo players hand-decorated. Their height is 30 cm. It's an object which gave me a lot of satisfaction during the years.

2)Qual'e' il tuo primo ricordo del Subbuteo ? (La tua prima volta)

il mio primo ricordo legato al subbuteo corre indietro nei primi anni 80 quando con gli amici in montagna, durate le giornate di pioggia, impiegavamo il tempo facendo divertentissimi tornei.

2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)

My first Subbuteo memory run from the first years of the eighties when I was on a mountain with my friends. We used to have amazing time playing tournaments and killing the time during rainy days.

3)Come nasce l'idea delle tue meravigliose figure Subbuteo?

Per un evento del Salone del Mobile legato al tema del gioco ho partecipato creando delle statue  del Subbuteo in ceramica alte 30cm. Da allora, vista la grande richiesta, questo oggetto è diventato un articolo che impiega la maggior parte della mia giornata lavorativa.

3)How did you come up with the idea of these marvellous Subbuteo Players statues?

I took part in the Salone Del Mobile Milan -which had THE GAME as a main theme- creating 30 cm  Subbuteo statues in ceramic. Since then I received a huge amount of requests so this item is now what takes most of my work time!

7)Abbiamo visto molte foto delle tue figure Subbuteo on line! A quali eventi hai partecipato di recente e quali i progetti futuri ?

Ultimamente ho fatto un esposizione alla Triennale di Milano dove è stato allestito un campo gigante con 11 statue Milan e 11 statue Inter, in occasione dell evento MILANO CALCIO CITY.

7)We saw a lot of pictures of your Subbuteo Players Statues on line! Which events did you take part in recently and how about the upcoming ones?

I recently did an exhibition at The Triennale di Milano where there was a a giant soccer field adorned with 11 Milan's Statues and 11 Inter's statues, in the occasion of MILANO CALCIO CITY.

8)Quanto tempo ci vuole nel creare una delle tue figure Subbuteo?Offri anche la possibilita' di crearne su ordinazione in modo personalizzato?

se si considera tutto il processo produttivo la creazione di un singolo pezzo porta via circa 4 ore di lavoro.

I pezzi li decoro interamente a mano, quindi si possono personalizzare a piacere, mi è capitato anche di fare, oltre ai calciatori, cantati, sportivi e personaggi dello spettacolo.

8)How long does it take to create one of your statues?Do you also offer the Custom possibility on commission ?

It takes about 4 working hours to create a single piece if we consider the whole production process. I personally adorn each piece by hand, so yes there's the possibility of order a custom statue. Besides Soccer Players it also happened to make singers, show business and other sports people.
