Italian Super Cup: Juventus celebrates the 8th title against a good Milan!

Juventus celebrating! (Picture taken from Juventus Official Twitter)

It wasn't a very exciting match in Gedda (Saudi Arabia) but this is very common when Juventus plays. Milan started very well, even without Higuain on the pitch - a lot of talk about his situation these days-  even if after few minutes Douglas Costa almost scored a great goal Del Piero's style after an impressive Cancelo's run on the right wing. Lot of intensity by Milan but not much precision in the last 16 meters.Unlucky Cutrone who got a bar! Szczesny almost gave away a goal to Milan because of a very wrong coming out that was cleared by the defenders. Cr7 was almost scoring with a spectacular side kick but the ball went slightly wide. The first half finished with a powerful strike by Calhanoglu firmly saved by Szczesny. At 61' Cristiano Ronaldo gave the 1-0 lead to the Bianconeri heading in a ball coming from a cross by Pjanic right on the edge of the offside line and after a VAR consulting the referee Banti confirmed the goal. At 73' a crazy foul by Kessie brought the referee to send off the player. There's a big question mark on the match: why Banti didn't go to check the probably foul by Emre Can on Conti in the penalty box?! That could have changed everything but Banti said he saw it all and wasn't anything to call. A LOT OF DOUBTS ABOUT THAT ANYWAY. Somehow everytime Juventus wins a big match there's always something to talk about in the end. What do you think about it ? Feel free to comment or write us on our social media.

Well what can we say in the end? Congrats to mister Allegri and Juventus. It's the 8th time that the Bianconeri lift the Italian Super Cup
