All wrapped u and already time to think of the Europa League Quarter Finals! The fixture did gave us few surprises. Even if we were very sure about Arsenal - the Gunners won 3-0 against Rennes completing the comeback lead by Aubameyang (2 goals for him)- and Chelsea which strolled 0-5 against a powerless Dynamo Kyiv, we still were very surprised to see Napoli almost getting kicked out by Salzburg and the did risk a lot! After a first half (1-1)very under control of the Partenopei which got the lead with Milik at 14' but got reached at 25' by Moanes Dabour, the Salzburg definitely found energies in the locker room coming back on the pitch very confident and with a lot of hopes pushed by their great supporters. They got the lead at 65'with Frederick Gulbrandsen and even scored the 3-1 at 90'+1' with Christoph Leitgeb. The match winning ball few minutes after went on the feet of J.Onguene' who's a classic defender so he totally missed the chance shooting far from danger - luckily for Napoli. Ancelotti made it but there are a lot of negatives to take out of this match. A lot of work ahead for Carletto.
Ok Valencia,Villareal and Benfica. Incredible the way Inter lost 0-1 and got kicked out by Eintracht Frankfurt which is still unbeaten in this competition! The German team made it all in the first 5 minutes. After only 2 minutes they already got a very unfortunate bar and then the goal by Luka Jovic who took advantage by an horrible mistake by De Vrij, beating him in speed and beating Handanovic with a nice lob on his coming out. The Spalletti's team was simply horrible, no matter who wasn't able to join the team but doing this kind of performance on an international field is simply not acceptable. Disgrace for the Italian Soccer. Only thanks to Handanovic the Italians only lost 0-1. The goalkeeper saved some dignity besides the result. Amazing the story at Slavia Praha which made an incredible 4-3 victory of the EL Specialists Sevilla kicking them out during the Extra-Time. What a glorious night to remember for the Czech supporters! Let's see how far they will go!
