The Torino absolutely murdered the poor Trapani for 7-1 thanks to a great teamwork and a very convincing performance by the Mihajlovic's team. Double Belotti, Berenguer, Obi, Iago Falque and De Silvestri scored for the Granata while Fazio did the only one goal for his team and one own goal for his opponents. Not much to add about it but very well done by Torino.
Sassuolo did a solid match against the strong Spezia gaining a nice 2-0 victory thanks to Missiroli and the great Berardi looking to bounce back to the top Italian Serie A players.
Very beautiful match between Udinese and Frosinone finished 3-2 for the Friulani as always very strong in the offensive zone and slightly weaker in the defensive one. Jankto, Lasagna and Thereau brought Del Neri to the next round, not enough the fantastic goal made by Gori and a header by Crivello.
Budimir came back to Crotone this season and also scored the first goal in the 2-1 victory against Piacenza. Nice match played by the Calabrese team that could have scored in many more occasions. Bini gave the illusion of a draw but Ceccherini killed the match at 83'.
Only 1-0 for Spal against Renate but that was enough to go to the next round. Goal scored by Vicari. The team showed a lack of strength in the left side of the pitch especially the wing back.
Very lucky Chievo Verona winning for 2-1 scoring the last goal at 90+5' thanks to Cacciatore! Inglese gave the lead to his team but he was reached by Favilli in the second half. Probably the result didn't show how things should have gone but well this is the Soccer world!
Cagliari and Palermo finished in a 1-1 draw but the Sardinia's team won the Penalty shootout lottery for 4-2. Goals scored by Joao Pedro and La Gumina during the 90 minuted. Balanced match and probably deserved victory for Cagliari.
Sampdoria beat the freshly Serie B promoted Foggia for a confident 3-0 goals scored by Barreto, Caprari and Kownacki (supposed to be the new talent to watch in front of the Sampdoria team).
