Italian Serie A week 27th: DAVIDE ASTORI

RIP DAVIDE ASTORI (Picture taken from Twitter)
We decided to leave below what we were starting to write about the 27th Italian Serie A fixture BEFORE we heard about the Davide Astori incredibly bad news. We are still in a particular mood and we cannot stop thinking about how randomly this happened.
We cannot just say anything else about it. Life is hard and we all have to move on but we can definitely send huge hugs and thoughts to his family and friends.

- Look how quiet we were before the fact happened :( -

Same old same old. Yes people. Juventus made it at 90+3' thanks to a goal by Paulo Dybala who will be probably brought in worldwide (just in Italy) celebrations in this week papers and news. The truth is the match was rather weird, tactical and generally quiet. The Bianconeri only had one shot on target and they scored. Milinkovic Savic was kinda useless playing only for him while Luis Alberto got substituted with Felipe Anderson in the second half and that was probably a mistake. Lazio was clearly too tired after the Italian Cup clash against Milan so you couldn't really ask more to them. Lazio-Juventus 0-1, an incredibly important victory for Allegri in order to fight for the title. Scandalous was the fact that the VAR didn't even have a chance to intervene in couple of occasions especially when Benatia almost killed Lucas Leiva with an awful defensive intervention that looked like more a kick boxing blow. As always victory but with a lot of suspicious episodes here and there during the match. Lazio had the control of the game for most of the time. Undeserved loss for Simone Inzaghi.

Spal did a great thing beating 1-0 Bologna! The match was played during an awful weather who definitely affected  the match but after a complete fight on the pitch in the first half it was Grassi at 48' to score the 3 golden points for the Ferraresi with a great, precise and powerful shot. Semplici was all smiles at the end of the match and we can understand why ! The hope of playing in the Italian Serie A again next season keeps growing up.

What a poker the Roma did. The architect has been definitely Eusebio Di Francesco who  was falling down a lot of criticism recently and WE must admit even US were starting to think he wasn't a right manager for a big club but after a match like this one many things will change probably. Napoli got 4 goals in the San Paolo's Stadium and only scored 2. Insigne gave the early lead 6' but reached just a minute after by Cengiz Under - an absolute gem of a player who's helping Roma to get a better shape after losing an important player like Mohamed Salah. Dzeko came back to life in a very key moment of the year. Two goals and a solid performance. Mario Rui even decided to kindly offer a great back heel assist to Perotti for the 1-4. Heavy defeat 2-4 ( Mertens scored at 90'+1) but Alisson has been the best man on the pitch saving several times his own net just like the Florenzi divine intervention on the goal line. Napoli can still make it.

ALL THE OTHER MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED ON THE 3rd and 4th APRIL, except MILAN-INTER for which the LEGA still has to set up a date.
