SWEDEN-MEXICO:very delicate match because Sweden had to win in order to hope to get a qualification depending on the Germany result while Mexico is practically already qualified with 6 points. Anyway it only took two minutes to Sweden to get dangerous when a Berg's header didn't find Grandqvist ready! (2') The same player tried to give the assist back to Berg who did a over head kick but wide. (13'). At 17' was Vela to have the space for a clear shot but he tried to place it nicely and his attempt went out of target by just a bit. In the following action (18') it was Forsberg who incredibly sent the ball over the crossbar from a very convenient position! Great match. The referee went to check the VAR for a dubious Hernandez handball but there was no penalty given. The first half ended up on 0-0. After only 5 minutes Sweden got up by one thanks to Augustinsson's powerful strike that beat Ochoa.1-0 (50'). 10 minutes later there was a penalty given to Sweden and scored by Grandqvist for the joy of Swedish supporters since their team was actually kicking Germany out of the World Cup!2-0 (60'). It was unbelievable to witness even the third goal of Sweden. An unlucky own goal by Alvarez (74') that put Mexico in an unexpected possibility of getting kicked out in case of a Germany victory because of the goals difference. Luckily for them the German unbelievably lost 2-0 agains South Korea so the Mexican are still in!!
KOREA REPUBLIC-GERMANY: Germany had no choices but winning and possibly trying to score goals against a Korea already out of the World Cup but that didn't want to see their skin cheaply! Germany didn't play well for most of the first half and they are rather disappointing not creating much besides a sort of shot-cross by Reus (9'). Shy attempt by Korea was at 19' but Neurer managed to get the ball away from a Son-Heung Min coming to score. The Korean tried again ten minutes after but lacking of precision. At 38' was Werner to have a chance to shot on target but his effort was deflected over the bar. From the resulting corner the ball finished to Hummels but his shot was smothered by Jo. First half 0-0. The second half saw a Germany forced to keep pushing and already conceding a shot after one minute. At 48' Goretzka had the goal chance but he directed the ball to close the Korean keeper just like the Gomez attempts at 68'. The last 10 minutes were obviously a German fire but they just couldn't finalize their many opportunities. Jo Hyeon-WO was the best man on the pitch. Imagine what happened when Korea saw firstly a goal for them disallowed and then given it back by the VAR at 90'+3 by Kim Young-gwon. Even more incredible was when Neuer went out of the goal trying to help the teammates to score and Germany even got the 2-0 scored by Son-Heung Min who put the ball in all alone with a completely empty goal. GERMANY IS ACTUALLY OUT OF THE WORLD CUP!!!

SERBIA-BRAZIL: it was all still open in this match but Brazil started very well and focus on getting the 3 points. High intensity but not many chances in the first half except with Neymar, Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus who saw their close range attempts saved by Vladimir Stojkovic. WE must say that Brazil lost Marcelo after few minutes for an injury. The South Americans got the lead at 36' with Paulinho who beat the keeper with a nice lob. Before the end of the first half Neymar tried again to score his second World Cup's goal but his shot was slightly high. 1-0 after 45 minutes. Serbia went very close to balance the match at 61' when Rukavina sent a good ball into the middle of the area and Alisson intervened but delivering the ball to Mitrovic who shot without thinking a second but Silva saved the goal! The hard Soccer law: you miss one you get one. Indeed at 68' Thiago Silva gave the double lead to Brazil. Corner by Neymar and header by Silva! 2-0!
SWITZERLAND-COSTA RICA: It was surprising to see how Costa Rica started the match pushing like crazy. There were 15 minutes in which Switzerland didn't understand what was happening. Sommer and some luck stopped everything. At 7' a header by Borges sent to the post by the keeper. At 10' a superb 25 yards shot which beat Sommer but not the bar! The ball incredibly stomped on the bar and got in game again jumping on the line and going out of danger for Switzerland. Another miracle -this time by Sommer- was the left foot strike by Colindres fingertipped by the Swisse keeper in corner at 19'. At 31' the sort of undeserved lead for Switzerland came in: cross by Lichtsteiner, header assist by Embolo to the coming Dzemaili who destroyed everything on his path with his powerful close range shot.1-0! That was the first half result. It took a while but Costa Rica got the deserved equalizer at 56' with a strong header by Kendall Waston. The match was almost closed by Drmic at 88'(2-1) until the penalty kick scored in a very fortunate way(the ball finied on the bar and bounced back on the keeper's header which pushed the ball in) by Ruiz at 90'+3'.
