A bit boring the fact that there are two matches at the same time but well this is the business so. Let's see the earlier matches were Denmark-France and Australia-Peru'.

Denmark-France saw a lot of turn-over for France especially because  they were already qualified so they could rest a lot of top players while it was enough a draw for Denmark in order to get the next stage so a lot of people were talking about a fixed draw. Well checking the first part of the match it really looked like that. Not much happened except a Kimpembe's header and few Dembele shots out of target. A real no play scandal in the first half. The social media were killing this match. Only wide shots and that's it. The match was so useless that it's useless even to write anything else about it. 0-0 GROUP C : 1 st France(7points) 2nd Denmark(5points) 

Australia-Peru' could just give some hope to Australia that could have gone through in the case they were going to beat Peru and France would have done the same with Denmark. Despite all it was Peru to get the lead at 18' with a wonderful shot by Carrillo greatly assisted by Guerrero. Australia then had to push much more and created few great chances with Rogic and Lackie  but the goalkeeper Gallese and the Peruvian defenders did all their best to defend their goal and managed to go in the locker room on the 0-1 after 45 minutes. The second half started very well for the South American that after 5 minutes they doubled the lead with Guerrero!0-2 and this will be also the final result. 3rd Peru'(3points) 4th Australia(1point) .

The most awaited match was definitely Nigeria Vs Argentina! The Messi team incredibly still had a chance to make it to the next stage of the competition despite the very poor results they are getting recently. Messi looked very well despite losing few balls in the first 10 minutes but he was FINALLY trying dribbling and run into the space. At 14' He did what he does best. A fantastic goal. Great launch assist by Banega and Lionel stopped the ball forward -magic control- did couple of steps and powerfully shot leaving no chances to Uzoho.0-1!! Argentina is definitely playing better but Nigeria got often close to Armani and this was keeping them on high. A direct free kick of Messi was also saved on the post by Uzoho but not much more happened. Actually the free kick conquered by Di Maria -WE think- deserved a red card for Leon Balogun instead of a yellow. Di Maria was running fast towards the keeper and he was the last man. Anyway the first half finished on 0-1! The second half started as a nightmare for Argentina. A dubious penalty was given to Nigeria and Victor Moses scored it with a confidence that WE have never seen before shooting a penalty kick. Easy like eating a candy. 1-1 at 49'. Nigeria was much more convincing and dangerous than Argentina. At 78' the VAR didn't assigned another penalty to Nigeria. At 80' Gonzalo Higuain Pipita missed an incredible chance all alone in the middle of the box and shooting wide...how did he miss that ?! Few minutes after Ighalo did a great solo effort from the left and getting to face Armani who made a miracle on his attempt (84'). At 86' the incredible happened!! Great cross from the right and fantastic volley by Marcos Rojo!!!! 1-2 final result!!!

The other match was Iceland-Croatia. The first team must win in order to get on in the competition while the latter did a huge turn-over since they are already well qualified. It took a while to Iceland to make some danger but they did make it in the last 15 minutes of the first half. A free kick by Sigurdsson at 31' and only Perisic tried his luck with a shot that went wide at 37'. Since that it was all about Iceland. At 41' it was Finnbogason who shot after a nice one-two pass with a team mate but his effort wasn't precise enough. At 45' it was Bjarnason to have the goal chance after the Croatian defenders didn't manage to clear the ball. His shot was saved by Kalinic (The goalkeeper LOL). Right before the first half whistle Gunnarsson got a ball at the edge of the box and shot on target looking like he was gonna make it but great was the Kalinic effort who saved ! 0-0 for the first 45 minutes. The second half started pretty fine for Croatia with a bar taken by a deflected strike by Milan Badelj at 52' and a minute after it was the same player to give the lead to Croatia getting with perfect timing on a Pivaric cross in the middle of the area. 0-1! A penalty kick awarded to Iceland at 74' was scored by Gylfi Sigurdsson. Ivan Perisic killed the match and the Iceland hopes at 90'.1-2 final result!
